“This is a truly beautiful and different place that must be visited for the day, even if you can't stay in the accommodation. We just did a day visit and it was sublime 🤩. Firstly, everything is made out of bamboo, it's just beautiful to see first hand. They even have an elevator made from bamboo!! The surroundings are all set amongst lush green jungles, and running rivers. The bridges are all made from bamboo. The magic spot though is there water pools set into the jungle side. The pools are all fresh water! No chemicals here. The food was fresh, delicious, and vibrant in colour. The service was second to none. We spent the whole day, sitting in the sun, swimming, eating, sitting in the floating chairs just admiring nature. It's a must do if you are in Ubud.”

“I’ve been to Bali a few times but never with kids and never to Nusa Dua. Nusa Dua is probably not the place for people looking for clubs and partying but it was fantastic for staying with my family. The resort itself was quiet, the staff friendly, the facilities great. Staying at The Gardens meant we could access the Courtyard pool too. I found the resort less busy than other places and we could always get a chair easily. The kids enjoyed the kids club and the whirlpool was always a favourite. The beds are really comfortable and the sofa in the lounge folds out to be a sofa bed. Great resort if you want to just relax and chill. 5 min walk to a row of shops and restaurants outside.”

“We loved our stay at Kaamala Resort. Firstly, the staff, they greet you warmly every time you enter/exit the resort, nothing is too much trouble for them. They give you a welcome drink upon arrival and because my partner loved it so much they gave us one nearly every time we walked through the lobby. The in house restaurant overlooks the infinity pool, with multiple places to relax. We booked through Luxury Escapes which included breakfasts and even a massage each. The massage was the best of my life, as someone who is never satisfied after a massage as they do not press hard enough I couldn't fault the massage I received here. If you are considering getting married they have a beautiful chapel on the rooftop which would work wonderfully for anyone considering a wedding in Bali. Overall a fantastic stay, beautiful facilities, staff, and rooms.”

“A beautiful hotel - and you can realize this from the moment you set foot on the property. From the warm and welcoming reception team, to the wonderful f&b team - and the unseen house keeping team as doing a wonderful job. We stayed here for 5 days and we were recognized by name the each time we moved in and out. Well done Ms Winda from reception. The breakfast was brilliant - large variety of items and well very quickly refilled - even the deluxe resorts take time, but this team was just too quick. By the time you ordered eggs, picked some other items - your order would already reach your table, well done Mr Sandi & the team. The swimming pool is very long and the perfect depth through out making is very useful and less water consuming. They have some brilliant under water speaker technology which was the first for me to hear and experience 🏆 The location is very central surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, massage parlors etc. The roof top of the hotel was wow, they screened a movie every evening - regardless of the number of attendees. The roof top bar / sun beds with own water plunge, the spa - everything was so well organized and beautifully made, run and maintained. Overall a complete 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

It’s easy to grab some food and anything you may need no matter for makeup things or alcohol drinks. And it’s very close to Kuta beach. My boyfriend and I go to the year end party and took just 5-10 mins to back to the hotel, nice!”

“We visited the oberoy for some lunch, thinking it would be a great experience. Sadly we were disappointed from the moment we arrived to the time we left. 1. Staff were evasive and left us to sit on our own in the heat, didn't even offer a cool towel or drink. 2. The restaurant has no AC and is outside, so very very hot. 3. The staff were very busy talking but didn't even care that we didn't eat, so we left without eating lu ch and ordered a taxi and went back to the Marriot for food instead. Over all, a very very bad experience, not even 4 star, very disappointed because when I visited Oberoy in Mauritius the service was exceptional, Bali was awful and the hotel very hot and open air making it extremely uncomfortable for guests.”
