“The Hotel Vermont is a modern and clean hotel located in the center of Burlington. The staff is friendly, and the Juniper restaurant and bar are conveniently located inside the hotel. Although there are no discounts for hotel patrons, the food is amazing albeit expensive. The rooms are also very nice. However, the location across from the courthouse and jail raises questions about safety as there are no security cameras on the guest floor levels. Nonetheless, the front desk has staff present for most of the day, which provides a sense of security. Overall, The Hotel Vermont is a lovely place to stay.”

“I went skiing at the Stone Mountain Resort, and it was a great experience. I was in the ski school, and the teachers were very helpful. The slopes and the runs are very well-kept and beautiful. I would suggest going earlier in the day when it's not as crowded. The only issue I had was that some people were smoking, and the parking lot that is not a mile away said it charges $5 per hour, but they charged us $45; we were only there for three hours, so we tried to report that, but they would not listen to us. But besides that, our experience is good.”

The valet & reception staff were very nice, courteous and professional. Very happy with the hotel. The fitness room is small but adequate. Can't wait to checkout the indoor pool after dinner, which is a nice amenity after a long day of travel and events. Forgot what I paid, but remember it was extremely affordable; especially compared to Portland ME or Boston.”

“The Wilburton is a truly special place. My family and I read about it in Yankee Magazine which featured its annual Doggy Slumber party. The mansion (main part of the inn) was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the party was amazing. A chartreuse from NYC performed Christmas songs as we sipped champagne and delighted in the warmth of the season. Melissa (owner) couldn’t have been more accommodating and was genuinely so happy to host and entertain the guests. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. It even included a full kitchen and laundry room— perfect for our family trip! A magical stay for sure and we will come back annually to enjoy this new family tradition at the most lovely Wilburton Inn!”

“We were here visiting the inn as part of the Vermont Country Inns Holiday Tour to support the local food bank. We did not stay over but did have a chance to walk through the inn including some of the guest rooms. We arrived early and the staff were very cordial in welcoming us as this is likely a first stop for many today. There was a lovely treat to sample from the chef and im certain the restaurant would be a delight. We had a great personal welcome from the owner and the chef. A lovely place for a romantic get away.”

“We had our wedding at the Quechee Inn and loved it. It was great having the whole Inn available for just your own guests for the weekend. We loved being able to host the welcome party on Friday night there. They also have the option to host rehearsal dinner. It's such a picturesque, quintessential old New England Inn. The tavern and the rooms are charming and cozy, with beautiful old wooden beams and fireplaces. The outdoor location is also gorgeous, with lots of opportunities for beautiful pictures. The food is delicious - everyone let us know they were really impressed, from breakfast, to dinner at the Inn, to the actual wedding food. They also do a great job of breaking down the costs of the wedding ahead of time so there aren't any major surprises - we really appreciated this after seeing other venues that weren't as upfront. Everything went very smoothly for the wedding, so we were able to relax and enjoy the day. We had a great experience and highly recommend.”
