The whole hotel is centred around children - rooms have all amenities for toddlers and babies, a huge indoor playground with activities for big and small children. The only minus for us was the lack of balcony to dry swimwear and chill in the evening.”

“We had a lovely one night stay after Christmas. The staff were extremely attentive (without being obtrusive)! The place was really nice with a lovely balance of dark colours and warm wood. Food and drinks were all great, we enjoyed some delicious cocktails and the evening meal was delicious. The swimming area is rather small but everyone was able to have a space. One of our highlights - they have a swimming costume dryer! This is an item that is missing in so many swimming pools :) Even though we travelled without kids, we noticed how family friendly this place is. High chair everywhere, own pool area, play room and a nice evening buffet. It was a great little escape and I’m certain in warmer times / grape season a lovely place to walk around and explore.”

“I come with my family for 2 nights. The place where the hotel takes place is very nice and the air is very clear. The room was clean, except the showerhead, we found hair on it. Mostly German speaking guests come here because few staff can speak English and the information on the cards and everywhere is written only in German. However on the second day we got an English menu at dinner. The staff is mostly friendly, and a few staff members have seen happier days though. Not everybody smiling to guests, probably they are tired or something. The guests mostly elderly people so great if you don't like loud hotels. The food is not the best, not the worst. The dinner is Ala-carte with some buffet option. The served food is really small portions. The desserts are pre-made and kept in the fridge. The breakfast is just acceptable, nothing extraordinary. The hotel offers cakes in the lobby at mid-day. But they are again, not fresh cakes. The pools are not overcrowded and have a lot of beds. The water is warm. The outside pool is also heated. We don't like to be nude, so we did not tried the sauna. Overall it's not a bad place if you want to rest, but if you have money there are better options, too, of course.”

“It was a great stay here! We were 2 family with 3 active kids and even the parents had a few minutes to talk each other thanks for the kid friendly environment. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Only thing we missed a bit is the English menu in the restaurant because we could talk only in English and Hungarian languages but with the help of the staff it was also fully manageable. All in all, this is great place, I can only suggest to go here.”

“Location was ideal for our business trip, just outside the centre of Güssing with free parking. It's a stylish modern building that's been beautifully kitted out to make a top quality hotel. Since we had to arrive late from the airport, we were contacted with a self-service check-in option which was very simple. Breakfast has an omelette bar (if you like that kind of thing) and some very nice bread with homemade jam. Vegan options were sadly limited - some dairy-free spread, yoghurt or even milk would have opened up so many other things to eat, such as cereal. While the bread and jam were lovely, and I had some fresh fruit with it, it would be nice to have some protein. The spa looks lovely but is only open during daytime hours, so sadly not ideal for business trips.”

“We had a room for three persons (no kids, 3 adults). The room was very big and clean. We had a big bathroom with a separated toilet. We "only" had breakfast which was delicious. There was food for every taste and if something was gone the waiters refilled it instantly. The hotel is specialist on families with kids but of course you can stay there without kids and will enjoy it.”

Hotel Galantha exceeded our expectations - the room was modern and beautiful, the spa was fully equipped with robes and all of the amenities for relaxation. We also loved the view of the castle from the top roof and were able to enjoy a lovely walk around the park situated less than a 30 second walk from the hotel.”

“Lovely hotel in a wine region near the Neusiedler See. We were warmly welcomed in typical Austrian style. The hotel is very clean, with great amenities including a lovely indoor swimming pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff, including doing a load of laundry for us! Breakfast buffet is magnificent, with lovely local produce on offer as well as eggs, cheese, cold meats and everything else that you can imagine. The hotel is particularly well set up for cycling holidays with a locked shed out the back for storing bicyles. Highly recommended, lovely hotel in a beautiful town.”
