“This is such an amazing place to ignite curiousity and learn about science and astronomy for all ages! The astro park consists of observatory and planetarium, located against the breathtaking mountain range backdrop. We went there for the exhibit and planetarium show at 11am. The exhibit is clearly explained, interactive and has both Thai and English display. The planetarium show was also engaging. We would love to come back for the star watching activity which is open for public every Sat from Nov to May. Overall, this place exceeds our expectations and I would highly recommend it to every family with kids!”

“We came here for lunch (didn’t stay at hotel). Menu has lots of Thai and western options, and although it doesn’t have many vegetarian dishes, they were flexible in adjusting. Only one other table of guests - was quite empty - but food took some time to come out and one of our dishes could’ve been served hotter. Food was good! Overall a fine lunch experience and good intro to Thai food, but hoping it gets better from here!”

“Very good location in Nimman with reasonable price. I'd stay again if i didn't have to use the gym, pool, or work at the hotel (more on these below). A few downsides: * Internet was spotty throughout the day. It often loses connection for 1-2 minutes every hour or so. It was good when it worked. * Gym was non-existent. It had 2 running machine and a few dumbbells with 10kg being the heaviest. * The pool only has 4 sunbeds without any ways to cover the sun. The hotel was great otherwise. Room was decent and clean. The elevator wait was short. And the service people were great.”

“Pretty standard for a 3 star hotel, but we expected more, especially since it was our honeymoon. The service is friendly but nothing extraordinary. Our room was very humid and sticky, it had a damp smell and never really got cool despite the AC. The door was very hard to open every time we entered. The bathroom was pretty small and the door is always in the way of everything. Our shower would also not stay one temperature which was very annoying. The breakfast is small and decent, free drinking water is always available. We really liked the location because it is central but quiet . Very close to the old town and not far from downtown. There are also a lot of friendly cats nearby which we loved :)”

“Por is another hotel that has copied BED with minimalist hotels catering to tourists who are between backpackers and the 4* hotels. This branch is white paint, which makes it open and bright. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is similar to all the other branches, a bit lower quality than BED. Location is quiet and easy to walk to food at the south gate. They have some difficulties with the hotel next door, so they have parking restrictions at the front, which is not okay for Thais who seem to come in big cars.”
