“Extremely unprofessional. We had booked a room on the website a week in advance, received a booking confirmation email, and got onto the train. However, one hour before our arrival, I got another email saying they didn’t accept online booking via webpage but only by phone. All of a sudden, we were without a room and needed to change the plans to look for something else. Instead of visiting the area we spent our time calling the hotels.”

“Echoing what others have said — the room is like a cave, extremely dark and cramped. We tried to plug in a cord and our room lights went out and the front desk (albeit they were helpful) seemed like this happened on the regular and knew what to do immediately. The electricity in this building is definitely weird. The worst part of the stay is the lounge/cafe — I really liked it in the beginning as I could work and watch tv while roommate was sleeping, but the front desk staff acted like I shouldn’t be there and kept peering in through the night. Eventually, they kicked me out and told me the cafe closes at 10/11pm, which is ridiculous. If you’re jet lagged / want to enjoy drinks, you can’t stay in the lounge and have to be confined in your tiny room.”

“The hotel we stayed at for two consecutive years. Despite finding slightly cheaper options nearby when looking for a hotel this year, we willingly chose this hotel again. We didn't know that the room would be smaller this year compared to the much larger one we had last year. The hotel has an excellent location. You can enjoy complimentary 24/7 coffee and tea service in the lobby. For those interested, there's a paid breakfast service available. The hotel provides discounted cards for activities in Amsterdam. I would like to express special thanks to Alperen and Daria, who assisted us during our stay. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. Additional note: When you go to the back garden of the hotel to have coffee, a white cat might come to visit. If it does, please treat it kindly and enjoy the moment :)”

“Was a centrally located close to galleries, clubs, cafes, kafes & restaurants. We had nice downstairs room with no stairs which was perfect for our luggages. Very helpful friendly staff who also provided lovely breakfasts.”
