“Good clean rooms. Room cleaning sometimes forgets to replenish the coffee and tea, they basically make the bed. Ground floor unit across from Moeke Restaurant. Rowdy but not unbearable. Staff very friendly and helpful and speak English to assist with any queries you may have. Breakfast is very well prepared although you sometimes miss out on the bacon\spektjes because it's not ready when it opens at 07:00. Very pleasant stay and will recommend most definitely, since i am a very picky and well traveled so i can compare to other offerings across the world. Moeke Restaurant is pricey, so rather bike to city centre to eat there or order a takeaway to be delivered to your room at half the price. Thuisbesorgd and Dominoes delivers to the area.”

“We stayed here as a couple for an overnight stay with breakfast. Enough has been written about the location of the hotel. I expected a little more for the price of an overnight stay with breakfast (out of season). From arrival to departure I never had the feeling of being a guest, more like someone staying overnight. Beds were very soft, but I could still sleep very well in them. Opening the small wooden windows in our room is confusing, the bathroom looks great at first glance, but it doesn't stand up to second glance. But the water pressure in the shower is really bad, as every shower on wheels has more power. Breakfast was tasty and good, disadvantage: no self-service for coffee, café au lait, tea etc.ect. You have to ask here... Conclusion: I would check in again for one night, but not for a longer stay.”

“Overall good value for money and especially the location amidst the forest was nice. The rooms were designed classy and cozy, but the material of the lodge and furniture seemed a bit cheap, unfortunately. And even though it was written that the rooms are soundproof we could hear our neighbours next door until late in the night which is why even though the classy design and architecture the rooms get only 3 stars from us. The pizzeria that just opened newly in the place was serving delicious pizzas and the ambience and service here was great, however the breakfast for 15€ seemed small and overpriced. The service was a bit disappointing and the staff seemed not so organized. During the breakfast delivery we asked for some extra milk for the coffee which we only got after calling and asking another time one hour after we were already done with our breakfast. Overall, due to the nice location we were quite happy with our choice of stay, even though the value of the rooms and experience didn’t fully match the price we paid.”

A treaty and visually pleasing Dinner and Breakfast delivered to the room's doorstep. The entrance to the hotel, consist of a narrow corridor packed with nostalgia, including a book on the life of the Jewish community in Elburg, and photos of the owners- a lovely couple at the opening ceremony of the hotel. “The house rules are a little pedantic. No coffee or tea making facility in the room and I was pretty jet lagged so awake for hours and hours with tap water… bed is comfy, room was small, atmosphere in hotel is lovely. Bfast was lovely as well. A nice selection of bfast dishes although I stuck with the bread because it was truly delicious and very fresh by Joris Brood.”

The air condition we paid extra for was just in the living room, so it has to be considered on warm days. The pools are nice but very modest (worked OK for us). The food on the cafeteria was nice, and the laundromat was super easy and straight forward and the clothes were soft and smelled great.”
