“Perfect location if you want to walk around downtown Hamburg. Close to everything that is there to see! Rooms are nice and bug with charm. Breakfast is OK, would probably skip ot and eat something from one of the local bakeries. Loved the small sitting area at the reception. Service 24/7. Free little dining buffet in the evening, beer and wine available. Would definitely book again!”

“Edit Sept. 2023: I visited this campground end of August 2017 and now I got a letter from their lawyer threatening to remove my 3/5 star rating due to “personal rights” even though my original posting had no text. Make of that what you will but I will change my rating to 1/5 since I think it’s shady to want to remove “bad” ratings (3/5 isn’t bad btw). For the actual rating of 3/5: from what I remember: location is ok, staff was nice at the front desk but the pads are really small and tiny, especially given the price. As expected noise level isn’t very quiet.”

“What a wonderful way to welcome in the new year 2024. We had a beautiful time in rainy Hamburg visiting museums, galleries, recommended restaurants and cafes. The hotel sauna was a pleasurable experience to warm up in the evenings. With the highlight of our new year getaway this charming and amazing boutique hotel. Fantastic service. Super delicious new year's eve menu with super attentive staff. The breakfast was also super delicious with a large selection from the buffet, including special requests to have cooked oat porridge. “The hotel is fine, the room clean, plenty of towels, beds comfortable. I got a room off the patio, so I can't comment on the noise I was worried about. The bathroom is fine, there's both a normal shower and a rain shower. Breakfast is good, but for this price range a bit disappointing in terms of choice. Nonetheless, what is served is tasty, and the red paste, probably from sun-dried tomatoes, was outstanding. Besides, good coffee and pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon roll), as well as pancakes.”

“For a hotel that claims to be a chain, the rooms are abysmally small for the price you pay (I have stayed in hotels under a €100 per night that were bigger. While the twin bed can accommodate a 6' tall man, the shower stall is so miniscule that you have to contort your body to scrub your netherregions! (of course a petite 5' tall woman won't have an issue). The walls are so thin that I could hear my neighbors droning till 0130H! (I literally had to bang on the wall twice to shut them up). Nothing complimentary is offered, although I expected this for the price. The 2 pros that earned a star is that the staff were courteous and the hotel is located a 3 minutes walk to the AK St. Georg bus stop, and Edeka grocery shop. Overall, it is a good choice if you are traveling frugally not comfortably”

“Internet hasn’t been working for over 24h now, couldn’t attend my work meetings, English is poorly spoken and understood. Rooms are nice, breakfast is ok-ish (fruit juice bowls were practically empty at opening hour - 6:30 - with just another customer in the hall), had to use a spoon to get cereals to unglue and fall off the jar as they were stuck (had the feeling they were there since the day before). Nice to have real eggs, scrambled or fried instead of the usual powdered, overcooked lump served everywhere as scrambled eggs. Surroundings: S. Pauli, not too much to add if you know and like that kind of attractions. Theatres and open market just around the corner.”

“The room and bathroom were nice, super modern and appeared clean- 24 hour check in was great also. Some of the pillows in the bed did not smell very fresh at all, this was a bit off putting. The room could do with a fan as there is no air conditioning and it was so hot. Unfortunately, some people were up quite late smoking and talking downstairs directly below the window making it hard to sleep. Otherwise it was nice, well located and friendly staff. I recommend Rotbuche for dinner across the road- really good spaghetti and rose!”

Very friendly and easy check-in. The area is indeed dodgy but to the same time the location is pretty convenient as you can walk to the main station.”

“Very spacious room! The AC worked very well in the heat, and the staff was friendly. It's located in a strange neighbourhood with a lot of industrial buildings, but it's a short walk to the train station if you want to go in to the center of town. The breakfast was good with multiple choices of yoghurt and bread. There was however some dripping of water from the ceiling in the dining room, probably from the AC. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Rooms are alright, you get what you pay for. Location is good if you need a place close to the city centre, this also means that there is a lot of noise from outside. The windows are not well enough insulated to stop all the noise. Sadly we were awakened in the morning by the fire alarm, it was set off by someone using hairspray since they placed it directly above the mirror. Breakfast is standard.”

“I have never been to this hotel but I have seen a video footage of this hotel and it's been explained, that all of the staff has some sort of disability such as one staff was blind and a few had down syndrome. Just the management was enabled. I really liked the concept of this hotel that they support disabled people by giving them a job. Therefore I am giving this hotel a 5/5.”
