From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its dreamland location, offering breathtaking panoramas and refreshing, crisp mountain air. It was a true haven for relaxation and tranquility. The staff at Hotel Lenkerhof went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Their attentiveness to every detail and genuine care for their guests truly set them apart. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible culinary experience. The hotel boasts two highly acclaimed gourmet restaurants, each earning prestigious Gault Millau points. Restaurant Spectacolo, with its impressive 17 Gault Millau points, showcased innovative combinations that delighted my taste buds. The culinary masterpieces created there were a true testament to the skill and creativity of Stefan Lünse, Karl Bormann and his team. Restaurant Ou De Vie, with its 15 Gault Millau points, served a delightful fusion of French-Italian Riviera flavors that left me craving for more, thank you Chef Tanos! The spa facilities at Hotel Lenkerhof were simply breathtaking. With stunning views overlooking the picturesque town of Lenk and the majestic mountains, it provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The range of treatments and amenities available catered to every need, ensuring a truly indulgent experience. All in all, Hotel Lenkerhof has rightfully earned its place as my favorite hotel in Berner Oberland. From the idyllic location to the warm and attentive staff, the outstanding culinary offerings, and the serene spa, it truly offers an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and eagerly look forward to my next visit.”

“Great restaurants on one of the best mountain passes in Switzerland. The drive up there is picturesque. The restaurant was open until 2 pm. We ordered soup, flamkuchen, quinoa burger, and spinach gnocchi. They were all delicious and decent in quantity. The dessert was great. Was a lot to finish, but I ended up devouring it all. There is a short walk up the hotel to get panoramic views of the Grimsel pass and reservoir. Get a wind jacket cos it gets super windy and chilly!”

“Only stopped there for dinner after a long day hiking. Since it was hunting season, they had venison on the menu. It was so delicious, well prepared and well presented. The restaurant area has been newly renovated it seems. The staff was super nice. I highly recommend it. We didn't stay there overnight but when we inquired about the room prices after such a wonderful dinner, they told us they had no vacancy and we needed to book well in advance. That says a lot”

“My family and I came to this beautiful resort and made unforgettable memories together with having an amazing experience. This hotel is one of my favourites for a ski trip since it is very close to the main mountains, together with being close to the centre of the town and shops/facilities, making it very practical and efficient. Just its looks already make it luxurious. Snowfall is frequent making any snow sports very accessible. The service was outstanding, their food and menu had large variation and was very delicious in general. Their bar had an amazing and breathtaking view of their yard and town. Their staff is extremely professional and friendly which is very appreciated. Their facilities like sauna, pools, kids club, cinema and great rooms provided a lot of entertainment even if you weren’t planning on going out of the area. Their rooms were spacious with just the right features. One of the bests hotels to stay at for a vacation especially in Switzerland, not too far from Zurich or Geneva. We have come here around 4 times and enjoyed every moment of our stay. My rating would have exceeded 5 stars.”

“Great hotel BUT… Nice lobby, great spa and pool. Nice view, rooms decent. Then game room is a delightful bonus. BUT, do not go to the fondue restaurant. I have had fondue over 50 times. This was the worst. Overpriced and never seen such small portions. Not only the cheese but even the bread and potatoes and they charge extra as you will surely run out quickly. This would have been a near perfect score, but this gave me a bad feeling.”

“Great hotel to stay in! The rooms were very clean and comfortable (although the pillow was a bit flat). The room was made every day and the staff were very nice. The room also comes with a Thun card which allows for free bus rides for your stay which was so convenient and useful! The only small thing was that our room was directly above the kitchen which meant it was noisy at night. Would highly recommend staying here, will Hopefully be back!”

“NEVER AGAIN. Negative-star if possible - There's an old lady who works there, she is very rude! She has no grace or hospitality. When I asked, the woman at the reception said that grumpy old lady is in charge there. (Probably the owner who knows). She had a very condescending tone towards me (a foreigner) when I wanted to reserve a table. When I brought a few local friends & ordered few bottles of champagne, Ms. Grumpy was unrecognisable. Food is mediocre. I wanted to treat some friends in a nice place (so I thought) in my neighbourhood. - Never Again in this place.”
