“I really enjoyed our stay at Temple. We had reservations at another hotel but when we arrived we were told children weren't allowed. The front desk attendant was just wonderful and it turned out to be the best place for us to stay. If I ever get back to Ennis Ireland I will for surely stay at Temple Gate. “Great place to stay with a family. Very spacious. Food in the bar is excellent in the evening. Lovely pool. We stay here regularly and have always enjoyed it. Staff are lovely and we always meet the same waitress, who always recognizes us. The resident cat always comes to visit when we arrive.”

“The location to Shannon Airport made an catching early morning flight completely stress-free as Shannon airport is just one minute walk away. The night stay was comfortable. Reception, other team, room; all very impressive. Had a comfortable sleep. Yes, staying again is definite.”

“Stayed for two nights here. Lovely clean hotel bed was very comfy, bed sheets nice and soft. Staff very friendly. Breakfast could definitely have been better ( full Irish had no beans, potato bread nor hash browns). And the water for a bath/shower could definitely do with being warmer. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“Country House with great views. Nice walk in the grounds and a couple of donkeys and a pony in a field. Nice seating area giving views to the valley, mountains and sea. Our room was a good size. Its a very quiet hotel... phones on mute, no TVs in rooms, even the bar is very muted. It does feel somewhat as though its a vision of how Irish gentry lived... but not quiet hitting the nail. I have had the pleasure of michelin star dining, and had some amazing meals so far in Ireland... a 3-star hotel serving the most amazing tasty food. I would not put this dining room in my dining diary for a return visit. It's OK, but does not quite live up to its previous reviews. All that said the majority US visitors loved it.”
