“Just there for the event room. The food is always delicious. Rustic elegance is the best way to describe it. Rich woods, stonework and crystal chandeliers create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lake view doesn't hurt either. The trip there is full of scenic views of Lake Winnipesaukee, the mountains and foliage. A peaceful ride, that's for sure.”

“I booked a room at the AMC Highland Center in October in preparation for a hike of the Presidential Traverse trail with 5 other friends. We booked the room for one night, which included 6 bunk beds and also included dinner and breakfast. The cost for the room is very reasonable, and you can save more by becoming an AMC member. There are also discounts on hiking gear in the shop if you are an AMC member. I was impressed with the dinner that was included with the room cost. They served salmon, pasta, and many other side options. Everyone in the group was pleasantly surprised. We left early to hit the trail, so we did not get to try the breakfast. We ran into rough weather on the trail and bailed off the mountain that evening. We needed a place to stay and called the AMC Highland Center for a room. They had the same room available from the previous night. We stayed and had breakfast the next morning, which was very good. We found out that the cost for the room is cheaper if you decline the dinner option the night of your stay. I enjoyed my stay at the AMC Highland Center very much. The staff were very knowledgeable and hiker friendly. I saw many other hikers staying at this location. The bunk beds were not the most comfortable, but for the cost of the room with six guys, it was a great value, especially with dinner and breakfast. I expect to come back to hike the White Mountains again and will book another room at the AMC Highland Center. Highly recommend this location anytime if year if you plan to do hiking in the White Mountains”

The Inn is quaint, with history displayed throughout. Check in was friendly and efficient. Room was clean, spacious, and decorated like a cabin. Restaurant was well run and food was delicious. “Perfect location with easy access to Santa's Village, Storyland, Wildcat Mountain, and many other places and restaurants I love. The rooms are fancy and very nice. The beds are soft and the pillows are perfect. They had some very nice touches. My only complaint in the room was the lack of a lock on the bathroom door. The pool was great for the kids, but too cold for me. The fitness room was a nice touch. I loved the water fountain and water bottle fountain. The little market was so cute and had cool soda. One lady who worked at the front desk was super nice. Another lady working at the front desk was kind of snippy to my family. The other workers were very nice and helpful. I loved the free cookies and muffins every morning. They were delicious.”

“I've been staying at Wentworth for 10 years and always had an amazing experience. I loved the old charm of the Inn. It was my favorite place. This visit wasn't so great this time. It looks like the new owners remodeled. It's nice, but it lost its charm. The service was average, and the food was horrible. Not even edible. We went with another couple and we didn't eat anything we ordered on our 3-4 course meal. I would suggest that you go to a different location for the meala. It's not worth the money we spent. I don't think we will be back anytime soon, which is sad because I wanted this as my wedding venue.”

“Stayed here in late November for my birthday. Wife ordered the package with dinner and breakfast included. The food was so delicious! I would return just for that. However, having a winter birthday, I thought their outdoor pool was the coolest thing - no pun intended, as the pool was heated. Never before done something like that! The photo is a view from inside the pool. It was great to be outside, but warm, in the pool, and enjoy such tranquil scenery. The accommodations were also great, from being recently renovated (so my wife said). I would recommend anyone consider staying here for a nice getaway!”

My husband and I have been bringing our 2 children here for the past 18 years, always reserving a condo. in the back portion of the property. We enjoy the local activities, the indoor pool, exercise room, theater next door, badminton, horse shoes, walks to the Sacco River and the clay tennis court. This atmosphere emphasizes the importance of spending quality time together. The Eastern Slope Inn has indelibly impressed wonderful family memories into our hearts for the future.”

“Booked here due to all of the good reviews but did not have a similar experience ! Open checking into our two bedroom suite I noticed one of the rooms and bathrooms had a horrible musty /urine like odor. Room also seemed pretty run down and one of the sinks was caulked together. Next morning we asked the desk to check put the smell. We left for the day with our 2 kids before 9 and came back after 4 and no one even came for housekeeping in that time. When I called the desk to tell them about housekeeping and inquire about the smell, no apology, update or offer to change rooms. They sounded inconvenienced. We are bonvoy gold elite so typically pick Marriott so this was a bummer. Staff at breakfast was the only highlight. For 900$ for 2 nights I don’t think we would stay again. We actually had a suite booked for next weekend also but I cancelled due to our experience.”

Review: The front desk was nice, but I am not entirely sure that our room was cleaned. There was hair in the bathtub, sand in the carpet, and half of a PILL left on the lamp. Honestly, the two stars are only because check-in was easy. Otherwise, I would not recommend this hotel unless you want to question if you're sleeping in used sheets.”

“The Hanover Inn was great! It’s right on Dartmouth’s campus which is soo convenient. Close to some food spots and walkable to everything around campus. Upon walking in you are greeted and the staff are super nice. You can tell it has went through a revamp because the rooms are nice, but the bathroom is a little cozy… hot water basically on demand and the beds were super comfy… we had breakfast and dinner there and it was on point, probably the best I’ve had at a hotel since our stay in Malta… however my biggest gripes is that valet parking is a little much at $30/day and the hotel is a little on the pricey side… but we enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back!”
