“We had a great stay at Hotel Hive! It was so close to everything we wanted to go to, as well as a quick ride to and from the airport. The room was what we needed - a place to sleep and get ready. The roof top bar was a lot of fun. The only thing that I would have appreciated being different is having gluten free items available at their pizza place. I was unable to eat there and had to seek other options, which wasn't preferable late at night.”

“Good – Not Great Stayed at The Jefferson Hotel for four nights in late December. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room, Room #512 and paid $455 + tax etc. The Pros; The hotel is a 5 Star property in a great location if you want to visit the various landmarks in DC. The Housekeeping standards and service is top notch as is the overall cleanliness of the room and overall property. The Staff we interacted with were very attentive and courteous. The Cons; The room we stayed in # 512. It was noisy – lots of street noise can be heard each night. The room was small however had everything we needed in it. The food and beverage is pretty average and as expected in a hotel of this standard expensive – we were served burnt toast and a burnt bagel on one of the mornings for breakfast. We were in a rush to get out to a tour or would have asked for it to be replaced. We would recommend the property if you want to stay in a very good location, with high quality rooms – be sure to check on room location and avoid noise, and plan on making your meal plans outside the property.”

“I recently stayed here for a week and had a great time. I think I was in a brand new room, super clean and big. The water pressure was good and very hot. Breakfast was better than I expected, with coffee, Juice, cereal, bagels and toast. There were also some hot options too. The area is very close to the White House/ museums and lots of nice restaurants and a few bakeries. I would stay here again if I came to DC.”

“Love love love the location! I literally had no need for my rental car. Walked all around the city from the hotel and plenty of good food choices around. I had a king bed room, the bathroom was kind of small and had no bathtub. The other room with double queen bed is much bigger and had a bathtub, so it’s probably just the room difference. The bed was excellent, comforter super soft. Just would love to have a slightly better designed bathroom.”

“We had an excellent stay. I recommend this hotel for business travelers or adult vacationers. The staff were organized and friendly. The room was impeccably clean with well-laundered linens. The bed was very, very comfortable. The bathroom has walls and a door (unlike some hotels these days) and the water was hot. There is free coffee and water in the lobby. There is street noise, so request a room on a higher floor if you're a light sleeper. I love city noises, but I realize some people need quiet. Our room had very good blackout blinds. The location is a 10 minute walk to metro or buzzy Logan Circle.”

“The room was clean and the hotel was clean, that’s always my number one priority. We were welcomed immediately and helped with our bags. We needed two rooms next to each other and the people working the front desk promptly answered phone calls and arranged for our rooms to be side by side. The location felt safe and we were in walking distance to everything without being directly downtown.”

“Overall I enjoyed my experience at the Homewood Suites. The location is fantastic, right on Main Street near a Metro access point. The staff was friendly and engaged. The hotel has nice amenities- hearty breakfast, pool, and exercise facility. The room was quiet, I did not notice ambient city noise. The clientele seemed to be more business focused (which also helped with noise reduction). The only negative that I found was that the rooms are old and rather weathered. My room was very clean, but there were stains/holes in carpet, electric blinds weren't functional, LCD on thermostat was dying, etc.”

“We just completed a great stay at Sonder Georgetown. The 2 BR unit was very spacious and conveniently located on a side street in Georgetown. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the two king beds were very comfortable. Blackout shades and a white noise machine made for great sleep. We had two very minor issues. The TV setup wasn’t as described on the app (probably because prior guests hadn’t logged out), so that took a few minutes to figure out, and lighting in the living room was pretty dim. Again, minor, and we’ll gladly book here again for our next trip to DC.”

“Gaby the guest service lady was phenomenal. I would go back again just because she and the valet man name geeta. Were super nice at check in and through out the stay. They went above and beyond to make the hotel experience exceptional. We experienced a small car remote battery issue and the staff was super helpful and friendly on top of the great experience they gave initially when we checked in. The only issue I’d say is one of the male guest service staff was not courteous and very dismissive. Besides him everything was perfect and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I’d definitely go again”

“This past weekend my husband and I stayed for our 1 year anniversary, this was our first time staying here. We were really impressed. The room we had was beautiful and the views were amazing. The staff was so nice and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. When they found out it was our anniversary they came up to the room with a gift for us which was so nice and appreciated. The next day Matthew wanted to continue celebrating us and gave us some mimosas. The whole weekend was a vibe and so nice. We will definitely be back to stay again.”

“We had the pleasure of staying at the Poppy in Georgetown for one night to attend a wedding at a local venue. Our stay began early in the day with the manager John reaching out before noon to welcome us and establish our timing for the day. We ended up showing thirty minutes earlier than we indicated but John let us right in. The good: The bed, very comfortable. The location, right in Georgetown and very walkable. Top notch. The bad: Only thing that was not perfect, is we had to wait for the coffee machine to be cleaned at 430 pm. Actually a good thing they clean it regularly. The interesting: The Garden, our room had an outdoor patio that connected to the main courtyard. In a longer stay we would have loved to enjoy this more. The split sink, makes for an easier time getting ready that the vanity is outside of the water closet. Overall, great experience. Would stay at the Poppy again and recommend to a friend.”

“This hotel is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are so nice, beds are comfortable, water pressure is strong and hot. The location is convenient and stunning! There were complications with our room block, valet was backed up, rooms were a little mixed up. The hotel worked with us to fix everything which we appreciated but I just expected a more seamless experience with the amount of upfront communication we had going into it. My group has stayed at the Pendry Baltimore frequently and I think they are a little more elevated. All in all, I would stay here again!”
