We didn’t know how our 1 week went by - I guess it’s because we were enjoying. The Restuarant staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good , both quality and flavorful. The hotel staff listens and takes action. We did have a couple of weird situations but they took care of it. We would go back to this exact property and recommend you do too!”

“Terrible! The first day the room was properly unclean, a bit noisy due to the heating system, and the last day there was a terrible smell. Then we tried the restaurant for lunch. We waited 1.5 h without receiving what with asked. In addition, we noticed that to the Restaurant director and they make us pay the full total! Even the menu is very limited and not use friendly. Most of the staff does not spear in english and do not consider you. However, the building is very nice with a high potential. The spa works very well.”

“Boracay is very likely on the bucket list for many Westerners who desire to travel to the Philippine Islands. Boracay is such a wonderful destination, it's hard to go wrong when choosing which hotel. My wife and her family stayed at the Boracay Uptown in 2017 and it was absolutely amazing. The proximity to the beach, shops, eateries, and attractions is ideal. There is nightlife in Boracay as well, but my favorite moment was sipping on an ice cold beer while eating Oysters steps away from the water. The Uptown Hotel was without question an amazing place to stay. The room was so cozy you could almost sleep the entire day away (which we accidentally did because of jet lag)! Breakfast was included daily, and trust me it was an amazing spread. I could go on and on about the level of hospitality and marvelous amenities throughput the property(The pool is amazing). Trust me, the Uptown is an excellent choice for your stay in Boracay!”

We had a convention here and the room we stayed in was clean, specially the comfort room. There are portions of the hotel that lessened its appeal due to lack of orderliness and maintenance (like AC fluids stuck in the balcony plant box that have built up stagnant water, or the glass elevator that requires cleaning of the construction debris visible to guests as you ride it). Will still consider staying here though because of their reasonable rates.”

“What can say, hands down 5star rating all the way. We came in late check-in and were greeted with a cold and very refeshing drinks by two of the lovely front desk ladies, all smiles with a very warm welcome. It took us only few minutes to get us checked-in and one of the staff walked us to our room. We booked a dormitory-type room that sleeps a total of six. The room was clean, huge room and the beds were fresh and comfortable. They have instant coffee/tea for guests, electric kettle, a mini fridge. Bathroom is good enough in size, clean and equipped with needed toiletries and towels. Our booking came with breakfast buffet. Food was hit or miss but overall ok. The surroundings/garden is well maintained and the swimming pool is good enough size and very clean too. Not a beach front which I like, away from all the noise from the bars but is just 3-5minute walk to the beach. Grocery stores and restos around. A very pleasant and relaxing stay for sure. Thank you Boracay Tropics and keep it up. Will sure stay here again next time we're around Boracay.”

“Was here to celebrate my sister's debut and the service was trash. Not a single waiter seemed willing to serve as none would refill unless you'd complain. The food was horrible considering that it's 650 per head, not worth the price. The molo soup, fish fillet, and even roasted chicken was bland. The molo soup was very disappointing as it is a very simple dish. It was oily and bland. I expected a lot considering the status of the hotel, but with my experience here, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for events. The only good thing from this hotel is their room. I would suggest that next time, there should be at least 2 waiters on stand by to tend on the needs of the guests. It would've been great if there was a scooper in the buffet area.”

Conveniently and perfectly placed in the middle of everything. The walk to the beach is a 20 second walk. Less than a minute walk to the main road. Place is surrounded by restaurants and shops. “The hotel complex is beautiful, the view from the large swimming pool is magnificent, and the rooms are modern and clean. However, that's about all there is to praise. The value for money is otherwise completely off. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the dining hall closes at 8:00 PM, and there is no bar in the evening, not to mention a minibar in the rooms is nowhere to be found. There isn't even a telephone to call the reception, and even the TV channels are not correctly set up. The food is barely average and, like many other things, overpriced. It is clear that savings are being made at every corner exactly where they shouldn't be: on the guest and service. A hotel that doesn't even meet the minimal standard should not have five stars but at most two.”
