“Room was OK, bathroom a bit compact, balcony a decent size but has a concrete wall and you had to stand to look over so not able to sit and relax there, Entertainment at night was ok but entertainment staff one night had 4 going round talking to holiday makers while only one waiter was serving drinks had to wait awhile to be served. Food was good but one evening a lady came with a tablet for us to fill in what we thought of hotel, we had already had a waiter at breakfast bring us a code to scan saying give us 5 star, it all feels a bit intrusive at meal times. We was at this hotel last year and really enjoyed it, but this time it was all about them getting a good review, won't be retuning”

“A great place to visit - but the drive to/from was a bit much, esp late at night. We stayed in a place nearby and the owner recommended we dine here, so we did, even though it was a good 25-30 min drive away. Seemed fine at sunset. The atmosphere was nice with local art displayed and a nice fire going to cut the fall chill. The pasta dishes were very fresh and fantastic! We had the ravioli with pumkin and the ravioli with sausage and olives as well as the pasta w mushrooms and speck. All very tasty! For our main course we had beef and pork dishes were good, we especially liked how they came with a small side of vegetables, unlike most of Italy where you need to order them separately. We passed on the donkey, but we were certainly intrigued?! Maybe next time! The desserts: canolli and almond semifreddo were excellent! 4 outta 5 stars for the drive, the bread was marginal (not fresh). The waiter was great and spoke perfect English!”

“The restaurant has all the tables with an incredible view to the sea and the cliffs. We ate the grilled fish, the prawns where good, some of the fish was cold, and seemed to be cooked previous to serving. Then we orderd a “Red Tuna” which was probably the worst red tuna i ever ate. It was cold and the taste wasn’t right. After that we order a chocolate cake which was amazing and a machiato. All in all the service was excellent and the staff was super kind.”

I just want to say that all workers here in this hotel Alessio, Antonio, Gilbert, Claudia, and Ana gave me the best quality service. Domenico’s coffee was delicious. I’m so pleased with the hospitality that I’m planning to come back. The rooms were nice and clean and everything in order. I thought dinner was going to be expensive and poor but it was actually reasonably priced and good, Breakfast the same - good choice. The head waiter was really charming and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are really modern with a big bathroom and well equipped and a nice outside terrace. Far exceeded my expectations”

My partner who is vegetarian had limited options but they went out of their way to ensure they could make something bespoke for her. Food was amazing and so was the view. “Very nice hotel with super friendly staff even in the intense mid August period. Perfect location for enjoying both sightseeing in Maratea or the beaches of Praia a mare and San Nicola. We spent only one night but we had a very good time. The only drawback we noticed was due to the cleanliness of our room and bathroom, not spotless but still ok.
