“The Publicans Pub !! We make an annual pilgrimage to the Kentish every year when the Cricket is on and it never disappoints. Family owned and run, they have mastered good service, great food and the art of making people feel special. Menu has been constructed to cater for those who are up for a big meal and also those who just want a share plate while they have a few wines. Beautiful building with lots of history has been tastefully furnished to allow lots of seperate areas where you can have privacy and quiet conversation. Caters to big bookings well with the rear "Barn Like" area, and smaller groups in the restaurant. Already looking forward to our return next year. (Mia was outstanding, Ryan needs to pay her more).”

“Stayed in the safari tents. Rooms are neat and clean, amenities are great. It’s perfect for a group of family or friends with the communal area. Staff are great and friendly. No kids policy works well. Couple of things maybe to think about, Hand rails at the steps to enter the tents. Ceiling fans or evaporative air con in communal area. The only negative experience was the Greek food truck. The yiros’s were exceptionally small and overpriced for the small size. In my opinion, the pita bread was pizza bases from supermarket. The meat was very dry and filled with chips. Also a smile wouldn’t go astray. I won’t be going back. The coffee cart was in complete contrast to the Greek truck. Coffee was good, fair price and friendly. Loved the park will definitely be back.”

We will definitely be going back again in the near future. And especially when our 5 month old grows up to be a little older as the water park there looks to be great fun. He will love it!”

We had a meal at the PEH on Friday night and it was so great we came back Sat night. Key up: friendly attentive staff. Great “pub food” and a great wine list. Well done Port Elliot Hotel (& shout out to Stella, one of the excellent wait staff).”

“Good and budget accommodation. Rooms were clean and spacious, the property is very big, they have in-house restaurant as well as gym. I booked the dulex King premium room, which had a spa bath, which works fine as well. Was happy with the room, service, and overall experience. They do little bit of house keeping like replenishing refreshment, I was soo happy to see my bed made after a tiring day and the best part is we did not request that, they did it when they came in for little bit clean up. Would recommend booking this property!!”

When we went there, the place was just opening up for business and there was plenty of seating available, indoors and outside as well. The dining rooms are large, cosy and the outside area is also very nice. We placed our beer order at the bar with the bartender who mentioned that it was his first day in the job at the hotel. The food orders were sorted out at the table and were brought out quite quickly. The pizzas were good and the gentleman waiting on us provided a takeaway box for the leftover pizza. Would be nice to visit this place when it's busy to see and experience the ambience of the place... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

Pool has been placed perfectly under a shady tree and near the restaurant meaning it is ideally located and provides some shade. Kangaroos and possums to be seen at night. Clear skies provide amazing skylines and the location for walks in to the pound and to the peaks near the pound is perfect. Get up early for the walks to avoid the heat of the day.”
