“We travel between Iowa and Texas a few times a year and have tried many hotels in Wichita as a halfway point. We discovered Homewood Suites earlier this year and it is our favorite. The front desk staff is so friendly my kids asked how they knew us and when we became so important. Shout out to Anna for her interactions with them. The hotel is very clean and well appointed, and has extras that our traveling family appreciates. We have used the putting green, basketball court, pool, hot tub, and enjoyed the outdoor patio overlooking the pond. Breakfast has more hot options than you see at a standard hotel breakfast. We also love that it's close to I-35 and within walking distance to restaurants. It's our new favorite place to stay!”

“We ended up at this hotel by chance booking on a website that randomly assigns hotels. It was FANTASTIC. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are clean, amenities are great. I didn’t hear any sounds from other guests the entire 4 day stay, while we were in our room. The breakfast had gluten and dairy free options, with oat milk along with the dairy milk. Nice touches to not make having dietary restrictions such a hassle when travelling. Everything was fresh, hot. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.”

Not really sure about staying in downtown Topeka at night but it was okay. I did not feel completely safe but it was doable. The hotel employees weren't very helpful with our questions.”

Broc, at the front desk, came right up and tried to fix it, called maintenance and when it could not be fixed, he promptly moved us into a different room on the 1st floor. “I think this has to be one of the best, if not, the VERY best hotel in Salina. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. My favorite part of the room would have to be the bathroom because I was provided with shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. I GREATLY appreciate that because I forgot to pack my own. There was also an EXTREMELY fresh smell all throughout the property. The front desk personnel were friendly, helpful and pleasant to chat with. It’s located on the sound end of town, and is close to pretty much everything. I’m also glad that my room was on the backside of the building, because I didn’t have to deal with too much in the way of hearing traffic. I will more than likely stay here again if/when I’m in Salina.”

“The rooms were beautiful, very clean. Customer service was awesome. The only downfall for The Visit and the hotel ended up refunding money. The hot tub and the swimming pool had too much chlorine in them and caused red eye and coughing fits. They were very sorry and fixed the issues immediately. My sister took my niece and her friends to have a girl's night for her 16th birthday, and she had an awesome time until they went Swimming, but they are fine and happy and can't wait till the next friend wants to have their party there.”

“My husband and I stayed for New Year's Eve for our 25th anniversary. The level of customer service and attention to detail at check in by Melissa was extraordinary and made our stay. The hotel is in a good area, very well kept, clean and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was well stocked and consisted of all the standard cold foods plus scrambled eggs, sausage, hot biscuits and white gravy. There are both regular and mini waffle options. Multiple coffee options were available in the lobby the entire stay. The pool area and gym are well taken care of. Our 3rd floor room had a pleasantly fresh smell and everything was cleaned perfectly. Every piece of furniture was in good condition and had an abundance of plugs built in for any device. Bath products provided were Dove, and the towels were large and great quality. The only negative I came across was the king bed is very firm which was painful for me, but it wasn't an issue for my husband. Otherwise, the entire stay from check in to check out was excellent. We will happily be returning to this property every time we are in the Tulsa area.”

“Very nice hotel. Hot tub and pool are indoors and accessible most hours of the day. Nice clean rooms with a mini fridge and microwave. Right across the street from a Sam's Club with gas and an Aldi, so perfect for road trippers! 4 star rating is for the breakfast being a little overpriced for what it is, but worth it if you have a voucher. Make sure to check out the incredible mosaic by the elevators! Also loved the cool light fixtures and the resin furniture. Made for unique and beautiful spaces.”

“This is Hilton property I'm accustomed to. The Hampton in Topeka is tucked away in a quiet, hidden neighborhood off of Wanamaker on Arrowhead. The outdoor is neat and clean and the area was definitely safe. Upon arriving I was greatest by Bruce. He was polite and professional. He made sure to let me know if I needed anything please inform them. My room was clean and even smelled fresh. O needed an ADA accessible room and the bathroom was perfect. I had a walk-in/roll-in shower as well as the higher toilet. I travel for work very often and have seen some Hilton properties that are not up to standard. This was not the case. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. The hostess were friendly and kept the food stocked as items got low. Breakfast choices were: scrambled and boiled eggs, polish/smoked sausage medallions, potatoes, scones, cereal and all the other items you would expect for breakfast. If I'm ever working in Topeka I hope my job takes me back to this Hampton.”
