“We stayed one night last week as we were driving back to Colorado. The property was clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety for everyone. The room was clean and in good shape. The front Desk Clerk at check in was exceptional. We would recommend the Fairfield for anyone needing to stop in Kearney.”

“Good for a night. It is a nice hotel, very clean and a helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast but at least it was fresh. So if there was nothing wrong with it, why the 4 stars. Two reasons. First it's a bit expensive for what you get. And second, the décor is dated and the hotel needs an update. While I didn't see any damage or wear, the place just looked old. We travel a good deal and stay at either Hilton or Marriott properties. This location needs an update.”

“I stay here 10-20 nights a year when visiting family in Lincoln and it is always a remarkable experience. It's great having a branch of the Hyatt Brand here in Lincoln and this property is above and beyond the typical Hyatt Place. It is located in a unique layout in the Haymarket District which provides great access to restaurants, bars, and special events at the nearby Pinnacle Bank Arena that you won't find at more suburban hotels on the edge of town. Breakfast here is among the best of any Hyatt Place I have been to and it appears they take a lot of pride in this feature of the hotel. The seating area in the lobby/breakfast area is spacious with many different types of seating which is very conducive to getting some work done or taking a quick meeting. There is a small pool and well equipped gym also that is shared with the adjacent condo building. Staff here always goes above and beyond and have become friends over the years. I look forward to seeing them every time I am back in Nebraska. Great downtown Lincoln hotel.”

“Was a pretty nice hotel for the most part except for a couple things which I will mention now. One they do not offer a free continental breakfast whatsoever which was a huge disappointment and the only food they do offer for breakfast is hugely overpriced,, cost me close to fifteen dollars for basically a bowl of potatoes mixed with some scrambled eggs and hot sauce at the little food cafe that I found down in the lobby. The other thing that I found to be outrageous was the five dollar price tag attached to the two bottles of water they had placed in the room and I found this to be ridiculous due to the fact that first off I was staying there as an elite member and paying upwards of a hundred and sixty per night you'd think they could throw in a bottle of water or two for their top of the line members you know. LOL I'm sure that water didn't cost them even close to five dollars and it wouldn't be breaking them to offer that to their esteemed members nor would it to have some sort of breakfast available for their guests.”

“Great place to stay! I can't think of a single thing to complain about! Price was great $70! Beds are comfortable and the pillows are perfect! Was clean! No funky smells. Breakfast was awesome! Lots of choices. Waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal hot and cold, fruit, yogurt. Juices, coffees, milk, hot chocolate, tea. Ice machine. Gym, pool. CLEAN! Friendly front desk clerks. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Cunningham on the lake has great food! Copperfields has excellent drinks! Highly recommended 👌 also there is outlets to plug your phones in on both sides of the bed! 😆”

“I’m traveling to the Omaha airport with my wife and two small children and the hotel has been nothing short of amazing! Check in was super smooth, the room was clean, beds are comfy, and the bathroom looked amazing! Check out was easy and the valet staff is great to work with. We headed to the airport early in the morning but we missed our flight being a tad too late, so we called the hotel back and we were able to get our room back AND got our late checkout request approved no questions asked! I’ll never forget this experience here at the Cottonwood! Thank you to Sara, Michael, and all the rest of the staff at the front desk that we might have missed!”

“My family stayed here for two separate nights on the way to and from Nebraska City. The hotel is fairly new (I believe it’s approximately 4 years old) and has the standard modern hotel chain look and feel to it. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We liked the large parking lot that had room for oversized vehicles. I would have given 5 stars, but the breakfast wasn’t fantastic and for some reason there were quite a few house flies in the building. I’m not sure why. By the way, the rear facing rooms overlook the South Platte river corridor, which is peaceful.”

“It was terrible. The room wasn’t what it showed it was and $75 for 1 extra pet is crazy. The Elevator didn’t work and the workers were rude. The only decent thing about it was its pool and even that was mid. It seemed way nicer online. Our thermostat didn’t even work and when you can’t even go through side doors to unload your stuff, why because there’s steps and carts can’t go up steps. The Toilet didn’t flush and there was no hot water. This play is absolutely terrible and sucks.”

“Be aware that the 2 bed rooms are 2 doubles and not queen, so they are going to sleep a little small by standard hotel bed sizes. Hot tub being broken seems like an ongoing problem. The location is also on the edge of what I'd feel comfortable with walking after dark. Service was amazing, however. nice variety of healthy options for breakfast, not just the usual high-carb fare.”

“Excellent hotel, excellent service, excellent location! Stayed 5 days and 4 nights here and had a great experience. Room was super nice and the bathroom floor was heated! Also close walking proximity to the Haymarket and the university! Also when we checked out, our ride to the airport would not be there for another 5 hours so the front desk held onto our bags for us so we could go to lunch and walk around. This was very much appreciated and made our travel day much easier! Would highly recommend staying here when in Lincoln!”

“Had a great stay at the Courtyard Aksarben Village. The reception staff was very nice and parking was easy and free. Great location if you have something going on in this area, or are fine with about a 15 minute drive to downtown. The rooms were clean and nice. It felt like the bathrooms could use some updates, and the tv was small and looked very dated. I would stay here again.”
