“I don’t know if they we’re having a “bad” day or the restaurant was too crowded and the staff wasn’t enough, but we had a very unpleasant experience at the restaurant of this hotel. The food came very late, it took about one hour and a half, when it came, it was cold, we asked to be reheated, one of the pork steak was raw in the middle. The waiter was arguing with the chef in front of our table. They brought one plate that we did not even ordered. Maybe we just had very high expectations due to the high score that it has based on the reviews.”

“It is a quite quiet guesthouse, located quite far from the city center. The staff is kind and the rooms, although not very spacious, are clean. There is a spacious private parking lot and an express machine in the hall on the ground floor.”

“Nice place we visited with our family and friends. Great WiFi coverage for my poor phone. The rooms were ok, the bed was firm as we like, the sheets were white, the pillows were put on top of the bed cover but should have been under it, the shower is big and off the walk in type similar to what we have at home so I liked it. We really enjoyed the fact there is a communal area at the first floor where we could prepare something to eat and also spend time playing board games with our friends. The children enjoyed the artificial lake and space they created in front of the lodge. Unfortunately we did not get to use the sauna or the hot tub, that were outside 20-30 m from the lodge, because we did not bring with us dressing gowns. You can rest quadbikes from them; we didn't. We enjoyed waking around the area and going for a hike on the nearby mountains. There is a gondola lift nearby, but it's closed during spring and autumn. During winter, when they have snow it's open daily. In summer, when kids are off-school, it's open only on Sundays and Saturdays”

“We are on TET Romania. We chose Villa Julia to stay for the night. So the rooms are not that clean, there is no instant warm water to shower (you have to wait 20 minutes for the boiler to hit it up). The food instead is excellent, the service is ok. The location is pretty close to the city center but the railroad is near the building so it is pretty noisy. You can park the motorcycles safely. All in all it has 3 stars from us.”
