“Lovely hotel in a great tree lined avenue on the edge of alsancak with some great bars and eateries. We had an upgrade with a balcony which had a fantastic view. The hotel was very clean with a comfy bed and was really quiet so perfect for a good night’s sleep. Good proximity to public transport, including tram service. Highly recommend.”

“It was great stay and Arzu at the restaurant of the hotel was one of the best!! However the ,last day at the hotel I was charged for $350 for a 36" TV that had a broken spot on the screen. I didn't have problem with paying for fixing, but $350? Also the next day when I was leaving my hotel room at 7am, there were two people outside our rooms waiting to go check the rooms. What were they waiting for? Are we going to take the TVs or break more TV? That was very disrespectful and invading privacy. I never had such a disrespectful incident in any hotel in the world and I traveled to over 27 countries and stayed in at least 100s of hotels.”

“We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and larger than expected, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have our Turkish breakfast served to us at the table rather than needing to get up and down for a buffet. Buse, our server, was especially sweet. Workers were very responsive to our needs, including the owner, who helped us with a navigation issue on my iPhone after we had already checked out. When he heard that we had stayed for our anniversary, he gave us a gift of their own virgin olive oil. The first two nights there were what seemed to be private parties in the garden with live music that was a bit noisy. They were Turkish preschool graduation parties. We didn’t mind because it brought back fond memories of our own experience like that with our daughter. They probably would have let us join if we asked, but we were content just to observe from our windows, which looked onto the garden and the sea. It finished by 11 PM. We were quite busy each day, exploring the countryside in our rental car, so we don’t really know the full day atmosphere of the hotel. If breakfast is any indication, it is a quiet and relaxing place, where the layout of the garden makes you feel like you’re in your own little world.”

“A lovely hotel with well appointed rooms. These include a big TV, superb shower, big comfy bed, excellent aircon, and nice mood lighting. The restaurant is superb and not overly expensive with good portions sizes of lovely food. I was here for 6 weeks or so with work so you get to see good and bad.... there's no bad. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful (look out for Saadia - the queen of the breakfast serving!👸🏻🥰) (and Yusuf the friendly restaurant managerwith a warm ready smile)(and Mehmet who is always happy and ready to help out) Also spare a thought for the cleaners as when you're somewhere that long you get to meet them too and the unseen house staff are also hardworking friendly people with ready smiles. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in as yet ❤️❤️❤️ PS There are a couple of small supermarkets two minutes walk down the road. The most EXCELLENT Turkish pizza and kebab restaurant you MUST try down beside BIMs. Oh and town is a good 15-20 mins walk away but well worth it.”

“I was on a business trip to Izmir and decided to book this hotel due to its location close to the office. I booked directly (via Accor) and unfortunately, at the time of reservation, it was not possible to pay for the hotel online. I was arriving late into the night, on the 27th of September 2023, but since I checked that the front-desk was open 24/7, I decided it would be ok to be checked in after midnight. When I arrived to the front-desk around 1 AM, I was told that there is no room, as they cancelled the reservation. The email that I received stated that it was cancelled on my request, which, of course, was not true. The front-desk employee couldn't provide any reason, so we had to call the manager of the hotel. After some back and forth with very aggressive and impolite manager, it turned out that he arbitrary decided to cancel the reservation (and I would assume, sell this room for much more money to someone who gave him a good baksheesh). Throughout my 100+ nights with Accor Hotels, I have never had such an issue - which makes me assume that it was the manager of the hotel who had interest in selling this room to someone else. The front-desk employee was helpful looking for another hotel and arranging for a taxi for me, which was indeed a stark contrast with his manager, who was yelling on the phone that everything was not his problem. A few days later I was able to recover the workflow of the issue: While I was flying, around 9 PM, the hotel tried to authorise the payment (which was a little interesting, as they didn't do it during any of the days between reservation and the arrival date). The bank decided that the hotel was a scam (which typically happens when a company was reported as scam before) and cancelled the transaction. The manager used this as an excuse to cancel my reservation. There is no need to say, that the hotel didn't try to reach out via email or phone, they just cancelled the reservation. I later read on Google Reviews that this is not an uncommon thing - the manager of this hotel does this kind of things regularly. I would like to urge whoever is thinking about staying at this hotel, to stay elsewhere.”

The rooms may be slightly outdated compared with the brand-name competition next door, but knowing you support a local small business is worth more than looking at some blend cookie-cutter hotel furniture IMHO.”

“My friend and I had a great stay here, we originally booked it for a few days but extended it to a week after we had our first breakfast. It’s the best bang for your buck. Service is impeccable, and everyone is very nice. It’s a 30 minute walk to the marina but a taxi is very cheap, and there is a mini bus that passes by the hotel every 30 minutes that can take you to the marina for even cheaper. The breakfast spread was amazing, the rooms are new and clean, and we were sad to leave. We will definitely be back!”
