Thoughtfully retro decorated and well appointed with all you need for an overnight. Exceptionally loud patrons and guests on karaoke night and loitering in the parking lot. It’s definitely a hip place to be on a Saturday night. Room comes equipped with a sound machine but I recommend earplugs and a eye mask. Clean comfortable bed and easy check in and out.”

“Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hampton! Upon checking in, the staff that greeted us were extremely friendly, and that lasted our entire stay! The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds were actually comfortable and not springy, and the hot water and water pressure were great! Wish I had remembered to take pictures! There are lots of outlets in the room, and every outlet has hdmi ports as well. There is a pool on-site but we did not get around to checking it out.”

About a mile from the Ravenel Bridge. Close to grocery store and plenty of places to eat. Front desk ladies recommended Page’s Okra Grill and it was some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. “I stayed here for 5 days for a work conference. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept and rested well pretty much every night. Continental breakfast was plentiful. There were a variety of breakfast selections for everyone. The only thing I wished for was coffee available throughout the day. The front desk attendant was extremely welcoming, and one went out of her way to fix me coffee before I headed to my room to rest a bit. The location is 3 minutes from Tanger Outlets, and there are plenty of restaurants if you don't need to head downtown. I would recommend this hotel, as well as stay at this location.”

“Just WOW. Our 2 night stay here was everything I could have hoped it would be and more… I mean who wouldn’t want to stay in a magical historic mansion? I have had Wentworth Mansion on my hotel bucket list for a number of years and could not be happier with our experience. We stayed in room 1, which is a garden room with a cute little outdoor patio. The room was very spacious and felt like we had stepped back in time…but with electricity! We took advantage of the big whirlpool tub both evenings which was a treat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with lovely linens and great pillows. The room had every amenity we needed, including ice which they filled up each after/evening. Little chocolate/sweets each night in our room, the full complimentary breakfast, afternoon lemonade and incredibly friendly/tending staff made our time memorable! This part of our trip, staying here was worth the extra splurge!”

The bellman was so incredibly nice and helpful, housekeeping helped with a minor issue quickly and with excellent customer service, the bartender, the front desk to the gentlemen at the front assisting with retrieving our car. He even offered to call the restaurant we were heading to while waiting for our vehicle to let them know we may be a few minutes late. I was blown away. “Everything I heard proved to be so. Certainly worth the stay if you have a chance. Stayed in a beautiful one bedroom that was spacious and well appointed during the holiday season. It was quiet and peaceful just as I needed to get work done. Things that stood out - two great TVs, warm water always without the waste of running it, comfortable bed, great shower, and terrific water closet with bidet. The staff was attentive and helpful from the valet to front desk. Didn't talk with housekeeping but obviously had done a great job before my arrival. I will definitely be back. “Not only is the Restoration Hotel such a beautiful hotel in downtown Charleston but what made this place super special was the amazing service and kindness of the entire staff. They offer free Charcuterie and wine for happy hour, free room snacks (a decadent selection) and a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks. Every morning they leave an adorable basket with a lovely breakfast at your door. The rooms are huge and ours had a kitchen in it. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a large rain shower. We were driven and picked up on request in the Restoration jeep complimentary. There is a beautiful roof top restaurant that is such a cool vibe with great views of downtown. Every part of the space is lovely, cozy and just makes you feel the Charleston southern hospitality. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Trip and Josh for your extraordinary service! “My wife and I had a delightful stay at Indigo Inn in Charleston. We were in town for an overnight Valentine's Day stay and chose the Indigo Inn because it was recommended to us by a friend and we thought the location would be good for our plans. Well, it turned out to be a very good recommendation. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and soon were in our room on the third floor, accessed by an elevator in the lobby of the hotel. The lobby is small, but they take full advantage of all their space with a welcome counter, a seating area, and a counter on which snacks are provided. In the evening the restaurant hosts a wine and cheese tasting located in the lobby and in the morning a continental breakfast is ordered. When we came in from our night on the town we were welcomed back with milk and cookies on the lobby counter. All that adds up to excellent hospitality, a trait that is the premiere feature of the establishment. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming and we had the impression that they really cared about the quality of our stay. Our room was nice, featuring a tall king-sized poster bed, crown molding, a dresser, and a walk in closet. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, the climate control worked, and the room was clean. On the negative side, the bathroom is a bit cramped, though we appreciated that the toilet and shower were separate from the vanity. The carpet was clean but a little stained from use. The TV is on the small side, but we didn't care since we did not intend on using it. Guest rooms surround a courtyard which is a comfortable space in which to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city. It is appointed with several chairs and tables, plants, and a lovely fountain. We had plans to visit several locations in Charleston and were pleased that we could walk to all of them easily. Parking is easily accessible and reasonably priced. All in all, Indigo Inn is a great choice. You can find fancier hotels, and pay fancier prices. But you would be hard pressed to find a hotel with better hospitality and a better location. My wife plans on visiting Charleston in another month with her out-of-state sisters. She already has reservations for Indigo Inn.”

The common areas and our guestroom were clean, bright, and modern. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pristine. The furniture is tasteful. Believe it or not, this hotel had one of the finest continental breakfasts I have ever had. The front desk, housekeeping, and kitchen staff are lovely. “Nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and vary clean. The beds are very comfortable with lamps by the bed and plugs for your or tablet. The hotel had a very beach chic look. The pool was gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful palm trees. They do have a restaurant and a window on the pool deck where you could order food or drinks, yes and even alcoholic beverages. The staff was friendly, free parking and handicap parking right in the front of the hotel. The price is great. I recommend this hotel.”

“We stayed there for one night several weeks ago, and it was the worst Hilton property in our many years of travel. The hotel front desk guy was so busy chatting with one of his friends that he barely spoke to us. We as ked a question about why the digital key wasn't working, and he blew us off. Our room looked like there had been a fight or a really big dog that damaged the wood around the bathroom door, and the window shade was all wrinkly and out if the track. We tried to fix it, so we could have privacy. The mattress was sunken down in each side (we are small people), so it was a real disappointment after traveling all day. We went back to the front desk after dinner to inquire about the digital key. This time a young lady was there and all but told us we were technically challenged! We have traveled for years using digital keys, so it was the last straw for me. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and basically unwilling to be of service. Too bad...the property is in a great location but certainly not up to Hilton standards. We stayed last week at a Marriott property in Cape Canaveral, FL. What am amazing stay! Guess we will go back to being Marriott's guests.”
