“I have nothing but good things to say about this lodge. Starting with easy check in and out, good location, clean room & bathroom , nice size bathtub, self closings toilet, plenty of outlets. Small sink in kitchenette? area and there were wine glasses, bottle opener, paper plates and utensils. The fireplace was nice. Just everything you need was there. The bed was comfortable too. It’s not big thing but there were hairs stuck on the roof of the bathroom. And the mirror was shaking and making noise so I had to stick some tissues between the mirror and the wall. Also the refrigerator was too cold. My beers, yogurts and vegetables were frozen next morning:( Those are a little disappointed but didn’t bother me. Overall this lodge stays were great.”

“The room was nice and very clean. It had a full service kitchen, a living area and separate bedroom. My only issue is that where we happened to stay, our upstairs neighbors were SO LOUD all night. I could hear them stomping around their room starting at 11am. It sounded like they were moving boxes, rearranging the furniture and closing cabinets as hard as possible. Then, at 4am, they started playing music. It only lasted for 10-15 minutes but I could literally feel the vibrations through the walls. Of course by the time security could come and ask them to keep it down, they were as silent as possible... I called the front desk at 1am and their automated phone service said no one could take my call. I called again at 4 when they started playing music and was able to get someone on the line. The employee was super nice and helpful. I found out that the suite above us was a "private suite", meaning it's someone's vacation home basically. If you stay here, make sure you're on the top floor or there's no one near you. We went Monday to Wednesday the first week everyone is back in school so we were really shocked by the noise issue. I would expect this on a busy weekend but not the weekday.”

“Reserved a king studio and was given a king suit. 35$ fee to upgrade to the studio that I already paid for. Both televisions in the room were missing the hdmi cord for proper operation. Asked the front desk and they recommended me to go buy my own so I could watch television. Bathroom had hair from a male shaving and a females hair in the shower. We have stayed here many times previously and this time was a true let down”

We got stuck 3 hours before check-in when another property management company cancelled our reservation last minute without warning. We scrambled to find a new place for the family reunion and luckily found a property managed by Tahoe luxury properties. Even though we needed same day check-in they scrambled to help us. They were so courteous and supportive and helpful. By far, one of the best experiences with a property management company.”

“A hotel with great history, well decorated and maintained with convenient location. And can’t beat the price. Definitely a hidden gem, I can think of many ways to host events at this hotel, there are many possibilities. We stayed there for one night, when we arrived there was no staff at the front desk, luckily we weren’t the only family there (it took us 30 mins to find our room) and the other families helped us. We joked about how creepy it would be if we were the only ones staying at the hotel 😆I’d sweat. The downside for us has been no free breakfast as we expected, and we did not see any staff on site during our stay. Luckily we brought enough food with us. They left their kitchen open and we were able to microwave our takeouts and brew fresh coffee in the morning. Important side note: the sunrise/ sunset balcony rooms share the bathroom. It was awkward when we realized we needed to share the bathroom with strangers 😂 additionally because it is an old hotel, so expect no soundproofing. We could definitely hear the sneezes, kids running around, etc. from either next door or downstairs. Overall it was an impressively well maintained hotel with lots of decorations and history. They have an old piano that I still need to try, and the fireplace was on next to where other families left their snow boots. We didn’t get a chance to explore much and rushed back to our room for rest; we packed and headed out after breakfast in the morning. We will definitely come again.”
