“We had an awesome stay here. The resort could use some upgrades and definitely some signs guiding you where to go. Our suite had a pull out couch and the mattress on it was not great. The bedroom was huge and I loved having the kitchen and balcony. The private beach was beyond spectacular and you could walk out on the sand when the tide was out for days. The beach was filled with sand dollars and oysters. The indoor pool was huge and clean. They have a great deck with tables and fire tables set up. Would’ve been great if they were covered where fire tables were so we could have used that when it was raining and to keep warm. Overall I would definitely go back. Our family loved it. It was a great surprise as we have travelled the island quite a bit.”

“The rooms are fine if you really need a place to stay and honestly with how expensive everything, not a terrible choice. However it is outdated and does feel clean or look clean. Carpets are old, shower head is stained, lights flicker, outlets looked or broken. Thrown off by excessive cameras and protective dividers. The night time staff did not care for us at all, she was not welcoming which is fine. But because booking was my name and my husband wanted to use his card, she took a copy of his ID without any notice and didn't acknowledge. Barked at us to leave the credit card in. It was only the very nice morning lady who explained why and gave us the copy back. However I don't like the taking of private information without a word. Breakfast was fine. Not great but at least they had it and coffee was fine. I would just pay to stay somewhere nicer next time.”

“This place was awesome. Our room was tastefully updated, although the lack of AC was unfortunate. That being said, the pool was a great option in which to cool down. The pool's depth ranged from 3.5ft to 5ft, and there's a hot tub and change/washrooms. Access to the beautiful beach was a short couple of minutes down a gated path. The thing I really appreciated about our room was how quiet it was. I couldn't hear our neighbours beside or below us. It was amazing. The customer service from the front desk attendees was prompt and top notch.”

“Absolutely unacceptable business, my brother was in ICU for over two months. We finally got transferred to Nanaimo what was suppose To be a big milestone, We got the most amazing news just before Xmas that my brother gets to be moved to our home towns hospital, after arriving with this motel that we were sent too from the hospital, yes this place is a trusted motel to help hospital patient family’s. We were told if my brother was transferred we would be refunded the remaining amount from our weekly rate, my brother has bin in our hospital now nearly 2 weeks, and they are still refusing to refund my mother, this money could be going towards the medical equipment we will need for him when he finally gets to be home. This is suppose to be a helping motel with compassion not greed!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!”
