“Stayed with a friend for a two-week vacation, in a room with two double beds. The room was clean, in good shape, and surprisingly spacious (closet space is limited though). The staff are excellent, and housekeeping is amazingly prompt. The hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance of much of midtown Manhattan and with easy access to the 6 train. City noise was noticeable but not ridiculous. Our room faced 27th St., so an interior room would probably be quieter. Overall this is a fantastic hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.”

“Overall I had a great time here. If you want all the amenities views and bars and restaurants in your hotel this may not be the place for you. We wanted a nice sized comfortable room for both our families to relax after touring the city. And that’s exactly what we got. Rooms were huge compared to anything in the city. All the kids were comfortably hanging out together. The location was great and definitely walkable to most places. The rooms are a bit old but well maintained. Could definitely use an update. Service was good but we never really needed anything except toothpaste.”

The bed was firm, bathroom/shower section didn't have a solid door but it did the trick. Modern fixings and an amazing big screen TV that easily pulled up YouTube so I could watch my favorite gossip show while getting ready. My friend and I really liked our stay. Definitely a hotel in the middle of the city. Staff was great.”

“Great location in the financial district. Lot's of subway access. The rooms are beautifully decorated, as is the hotel lobby. But, there is one BIG drawback...it's SO NOISY, even by NYC standards. I swear the windows are paper thin and you can hear cars endlessly driving over a loose manhole on the neighboring street. Constant, maddening, rattling. Also, the room doors do not shut smoothly, so you'll hear every guest on the floor slamming their door at all hours. If you are sensitive to noise in the slightest, this is not the hotel for you. Even if you're not, bring ear plugs!”

“We had SUCH a wonderful stay with our one-year-old here over the holidays! We booked a junior suite which was a stunning corner room with floor to ceiling windows and great views - it was the perfect size for a family of three. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and so kind to our baby, even playing with her in the lobby and offering stickers. Our room was stocked with a crib, extra blankets and pillows, baby soap, a fridge, and more! We were very comfortable here for nearly a week and could have stayed longer. Also loved the thoughtful touches like morning coffee and evening prosecco in the lobby! If you know NYC you already know how phenomenal this location is - so much is walkable and then the subway is right there if you want to explore even farther. We will absolutely be back!”

“If you want to be in the heart of Times Square this hotel is the best for it. Super close to everything around us which was my favorite thing about it (to walk) Rooms were OK. Definitely look a lot nicer in pictures. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness at all .. i could tell the bathroom counter was never wiped it still has tooth brush stains and we stayed for 6 nights. Nothing was wiped down not even toilets were cleaned. You hear everything going on in the hallways as well. People talking, doors closing.. there’s no sound proofing. Staff at the front desk and bell desk were very friendly. Elevators take forever to catch as well. The 2 bars the hotel have are pretty cool as well. Overall i wouldn’t recommend this place.”

“Perfect stay at Hyatt Herald Square We loved our stay at this location. TAYLOR at check in was especially helpful and friendly. She even had a tray of fruit and a Happy Anniversary card for us in our room when we checked in. She allowed us to leave our luggage since we had an early arrival, and texted us as soon as our room was ready. Room was super clean, and we had a great view of the Empire State Building.”

“This darling boutique hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay… we had stayed here in the past & knew we would return! Great location!!!! Reasonable in price compared to others in the area… and the staff is SUPERB!!!! Front desk was always pleasant & helpful, recommended a few great restaurants close! The bellman arranged for a car (same $$$ as Uber but much nicer) scheduled for 7 but he got there a little early, we noticed the breakfast sandwiches delivering, ask the staff if there was anyway they could zap 2 of them for us to have in car… within a few minutes they came out with sandwiches & OJ….WOW!!! Visiting from the Midwest, it is hard to find true hospitality in NY but this hotel is different! We had nothing but kindness from everyone—front desk (thank you Marie), bellman (thanks John). Rooms are a little small (but it’s NY), beds comfy, love the old & new! And yes noises of the street can be heard…. Loved it… the city at its finest!!! We will always stay at this lovely hotel!!”
