Being new everything worked and the staff were very responsive to any requests. Only suggestion is carports should be erected next to the bungalows to protect the vehicles. “Normally I'm not one to leave a bad review but here it goes. The staff at the time have been helpful however after further discussions with them this had turned sour quite fast. It was asked to staff if where my car was parked if it was fine. The staff informed me that it was fine where it was. Nothing was offered more about the subject. However the next morning when I went to retrieve my car. It was missing. It was towed away. So the staff have incorrectly informed me. I have had many conversations with the reception manager about how this was a fault of their staff by giving me the instructions that my car was perfectly fine where it was. I'm now out of pocket an excess of $350 due to a fault which could have been prevented if their staff had offered for the paid parking which I had no knowledge about. The staff are quite rude about this situation and have been no assistance but only on the grounds that now I'm the liar. I know what I was told by the staff at the time otherwise if I was instructed that if was not the correct parking I would have moved my car and not be out of pocket. I told the reception manager that I would be leaving this Review and to which she replied whatever. I've never been disappointed in my life by this place. Would not recommend at all to anyone unless you plan on paying an excessive towing bill.”

“Just a heads up. If you are looking for a really nice "pub" meal, don't go past the Dalrymple Hotel. The Bistro Manager, Trevor, is friendly n always smiling. He treats the staff with respect and courtesy and the meals are large and reasonably priced. We will be back 👍”

“The room itself was quite nice, though our tv didn't work (I did let them know on checkout and we did not feel the need to report it during our stay as it was not a pressing issue to us). The pool was lovely. I needed car parking and whilst it says subject to availability on the confirmation email, it didn't say that car parking was very limited - there doesn't seem to be a good ratio of carparks to rooms and on our first night I had to park in the street. I booked direct and was unhappy that the preauth and the payment were taken pending together before arrival instead of separately, meaning that I don't get my whole preauth back because part of it goes to credit card fees when charged overnight. I would have preferred to have been given the option to pay on savings on check in instead of being charged the fee.”

I had the pork cutlet and I've never had one cooked to absolute perfection. Thoroughly cooked through but still so moist, it melted on my mouth. Absolutely beautiful. It is our go to for a quick lunch or dinner.”

“Hi there, staying 2 nights in room 317. Wow, what a cozy room. Beautiful walk-in shower, no bathtub to climb into. Recently renovated, very nice and clean. Bed is very comfortable. Smart tv with netflix. And the balcony is beautifully located on the side of the building. You can see Magnetic Island, the ocean and the strand, but still very quiet. In the morning you can even hear the waves. Reception has limited hours. We came when a very friendly lady checked us in. Parking is very secure. You get your own fob key to get into the carpark, no driving around to find parking. Lights in the hallway could be brighter, but hey, who cares. Room has a fridge, even a two cooking plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc. We will come back here”
