“The good.... The Hotel front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel is quiet and in a fine location. The pool and public areas are fine and the breakfast was good. The bad... We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one is sub-par and the worst I have experienced in terms of room condition and upkeep. In short, the room (517) simply was not maintained and ready to receive us as guests: (1) The bathroom vent fan squeaked loudly such that it could be heard in the sleeping area with the door closed, (2) the tub would not drain (took longer that 30 min), (3) there was no shampoo bottle in the shower, (4) the body wash bottle was empty, and (5) there were holes in the shower tile, rusty pipes, and the wooden furniture, are generally worn which included a wobbly fridge stand. We stayed for 5 nites, the issues were reported to the front desk right away, and some issues were resolved (the drain was cleared and tile holes filled), but, the other issues were not addressed during our stay... We got a bottle of shampoo and bars of soap from the front desk. The breakfast was well prepared, food was readily available, and the area was very clean. The breakfast staff were great. It just seems that there were fewer food choices as compared to other Hampton Inns... For example... No Bold Coffee. See photos. Perhaps none of these are critical issues, but, they put the hotel on par with some of the lower cost hotel options and are not consistent with the Hampton Inn standard.”

He went above and beyond to help me and my family with getting us a room earlier since our flight got here so early and we traveled overnight. He gave us tips on where to dine and what could we explore around in our short time free. 🙌💕 The staff is friendly! Myself and family felt very comfortable walking around the hotel. They have the best handmade lemonade !! With sliced strawberries and all y’all! Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, is close to all main restaurants. He is always present and dedicated to the guest and staff.”

“The housekeeping left much to be desired. Apparently, the head housekeeper was gone for a few days, so the rest of them decided not to work, and several people in the hotel did not receive service. Of course, it was rectified when she came back, but seriously. Additionally, someone cracked the window of my car, the windshield to be exact, and the camera placement is poor. I understand they're not responsible for what happens but could you at least be considerate enough to make sure that I'm able to see what someone else may do. In that regard, I feel like you may be a little responsible. Additionally, the channel options/ cable service. Whatever it is, they want to call it was trash. They could have done a much better job if it's too expensive for you to have a better cable package. It's sad we're disappointed and expected more with the Hilton name. But overall, the other aspects of the hotel and other people who work there were good.”

The rating was lower because every time we stay at a Hampton the quality of the bed seems to decline. As a place to sleep on our travels, they should make the quality of the bed priority. We slept lousy and woke up extremely achey because of the terrible beds. Please do better Hilton. We used to brag about how comfy your hotels were...not anymore.”

“I almost don’t want to write the review, because I don’t want the place to get too popular and the price go up all that. Standalone boutique hotels can be so cool, and this is a prime example of that. Well designed room. Custom services. The coffee maker in the room was a delicious espresso pod! There are jean robes. They give you a poker chip for a free drink upon arrival. It’s a great blend of hip and luxurious. Definitely look forward to staying here again.”

“Stayed here back in Nov for a soccer tournament and the stay was pleasant. Here for a concert and knew we would stay again after comparing reviews to other area hotels. Not fancy but the room was very clean and looks up to date. The staff is friendly. Room was very affordable. We did not eat the breakfast this time because on our previous stay an elderly man was getting the food with his bare hands and filling his disposable water bottle from the drink spigot. I did notify the desk attendant but didnt stay to see if it was addressed however the breakfast was good on our previous trip.”

“Sadly, we were unable to stay our full paid night at this hotel. The overwhelming odor of cleaning solution hit us as soon as we walked in and only got worse once in our room. We checked in around 3pm and were in our room less than two hours before leaving for the evening. Honestly though the scent would dissipate while we were out for several hours. That was not the case. We even tried opening the window and turning on the bathroom fan. Both my husband and myself were nauseated and had headaches by the time we gave up and left. At the front desk, the night employees were pleasant and mentioned if we had notified them, they could have tried to move us to another room. I explained the smell started from the time we walked in the front door so we declined. She did not offer any form of compensation or partial refund of any kind but said they'd "check us out in the morning and email the receipt". So, we were forced to pay for a full night in a room we could not stay in.”
