“We were only in Gaitlinburg for one night. But it was a great affordable hotel. The rooms were clean. The office staff was nice. It was located close to the things we wanted to see and do. It’s not fancy but nice big rooms. Our room had a great view of the creek behind us with a balcony you could sit on. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.”

“Rooms were nice and clean. Love that they eliminate a lot of plastic waste by offering large bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner instead of bottles. The pool is outside. It is not heated but is open year round. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The entrance is easy to miss from the road. Views from the window are awesome. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the choices of chocolate or vanilla pancake batter. They had several toppings including chocolate chips and strawberry sauce. Today's other breakfast offerings were biscuits and gravy, diced potatoes, scrambled eggs and ham. There was also oatmeal, a variety of muffins/Danish, and some fruit. I wish they'd had flavored creamer for the coffee.”

“Stayed here while visiting relatives in Greenville for a couple nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were in good condition. Didn't have time to enjoy the recreational portion of facilities. Bed were comfortable. Appliances were well taken care of. Gas fireplace was relaxing. Great place to stay outside of Gatlinburg.”

“This is my favorite hotel in the Smokies. The one in Gatlinburg is nicer, but way too expensive. This one is reasonably priced and convenient to all the mountains have to offer. I like the room layout, which is basically a suite. The beds are separated by a restroom, which makes it seem more like two rooms, although they cannot be shut off from each other. Breakfast is the typical HIE fare. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, plenty of outlets, helpful staff, view of the Smokies. What's not to love?”

“My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently. Overall, it was just okay. The location is great if you want to walk the streets of Gatlinburg. The room wasn’t very clean. The A/C - Heating didn’t work great. House keeping was horrible! They came to clean 2 of the 4 days we stayed. In the 2 days they came, they barely made the bed, did not replace any of the items we used, toilet paper ran out on the 3rd day and wasn’t replaced, towels weren’t replaced, and trash wasn’t emptied. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff at the front desk were nice. Coffee was great!”

“We recently stayed with our children. We’ve been to Pigeon Forge many times but was our first time staying here. We love the restaurant next door so we loved the proximity. The hotel lot was extremely full and we barely found a spot to park. The hallway smelled like cigarettes. And the overall cleanliness was not there. Everything was just dirty. Bathroom was tiny and almost could not shut door while in the bathroom. Everything was extremely dated. Pictures make it seem a lot better than it is. I’m glad we only stayed for one night.”

“Staff was amazing and very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Great hotel. The 4 stars is due to the bathroom. 1st- the bathroom door is a slider. It is the closet door that slides to cover the closet and/or the bathroom. Not an issue IF it closed the actual bathroom off. The door might as well be open. No seal. Everyone can hear your business and peek in if they want. No way to get privacy. 2nd- the faucet! The hard spray is annoying. The first time you turn it on be prepared for a spray of water on the counter and YOU. Think you'll remember it the next time you go to turn it on? Ha. Nope. Overall wasn't horrible.”

Everyone is so nice and friendly from the front desk to housekeeping, you can tell that they work well together buy the way they talk to each other and the results are plain to see. This place in ran the right way supper clean, well maintained, unbeatable location with great rates. Ther is one more thing that was the crown Jewel for me it was the way that a front desk worker talked so highly of the owners and how well they treat the workers and how this is a family owned business, so I know who will be getting my business in the future.”

“I’ve been staying at Hampton Inns almost exclusively for the past 5 years and have never been as disappointed as I was at this location. First thing that hits you when walking into the lobby is the smell of dog. I know it is a pet friendly hotel but to smell like that is not appealing to all customers. The floor mats at the door entrances were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The lobby was beautiful and looked like a lodge but the smell and dirty carpets ruined it for me. We had connecting rooms with 2 queen beds in each. When entering the rooms, they looked and smelled dingy and outdated. The carpet was dirty and I was grossed out to walk without shoes on it. There was mold on the ceiling in the corner of our room. The curtains were old and dusty with sun damage and holes in them. The office chairs in both rooms were beyond worn. I can’t believe they even have them in the room in their condition. The door for the refrigerator was broken and the hinge was laying on the floor. The thermostat was flashing low battery. The drain on the bathroom sink was extremely slow & seemed to be clogged. The beds were clean, sheets & pillows clean but this was by far the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in. Almost all the furniture in the rooms and throughout the hotel were old and worn with noticeable scratches and marks on them. I will definitely think twice and read reviews more carefully before booking with Hampton again. Let’s not forget to mention we paid the most we’ve ever paid at a Hampton per night- $275/room and had the worst experience. This hotel needs a major renovation and probably has for the past 10 years judging by the looks of things.”

“I recently had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and had the most relaxing, pampered time of my life. The rooms are wonderful, clean, roomy, and very comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious. Each morning the staff prepares and serves a fresh, home-cooked meal delivered to your table. Don't overlook ordering a dinner meal. My meal was so delicious! The spa services are also excellent. Everyone I met at the Inn was warm and friendly. I highly recommend staying at the Blue Mountain Mist Inn whether you are planning a trip to the Pigeon Forge area or if you just want a beautiful place for some R & R.”

“The room is great. The location is good, but it is quite a walk to the strip. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff is very attentive. I have two complaints. We have been here three days and have not received any housekeeping. I requested towels and never got them. I had to go to the front desk when we got back to our room late one night to ask for them and toilet paper. The guy that has been at the front desk our whole stay is terrible. ZERO customer service. You can go stand at the desk forever and he will not look up at you or acknowledge you. He doesn't say a word when you walk by. If you need something, your presence is an inconvenience to him. I'm a Marriot member and I'm highly dissatisfied by the customer service here.”

“We had the best time of our lives in this cabin. It captured it all. My husband and I eloped here and it was the perfect cabin for our family of 5. The bears payed us a visit almost every morning. Super cool experience and the property manager was very sweet. Make sure to keep your doors locked and hot tub covered. The only thing I could complain about was the dirty floors when we arrived. Seemed like it could have been cleaned better. But having to sweep multiple times while being there I could how it’s easy to track stuff in. We had all the stuff to cook with. My kids were so sad to leave and we would definitely book again.”

“We always stay here have always loved the rooms, rates and customers service we stayed earlier this month and there was ants all in the room, room wasn’t cleaned before we checked in, we were moved to another room but seen bugs in the bathroom, room wasn’t cleaned when we left for the day just the bed made and towels left. For this to be recently remodeled the ceiling of the room looked like it had blood stains on it or whoever painted missed a lot. It sure wasn’t like it used to be. The elevators didn’t look like they had been cleaned the whole time we stay nor the area where you come off the elevator. We’ve never had any problems with this hotel til this stay the lady at the front desk her nails were disgusting. She smelled like a cigarette. She was so rude. Not a nice word come out of her mouth. We probably will never stay here again. I’ve never left a negative review anywhere but half the people I ran into on our floor was complaining about the way the hotel was. We spent over 400 dollars to stay here and it was the worse stay ever”

“I really liked and enjoyed my overnight stay. It is affordable, great service and CLEAN. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful, kind and informative. Everything in our room was clean and cozy. Pillows are fluffy and comfortable. The bed sheets and covers are new, soft and smell clean. The room smelled clean too. The area is good as it is close to most of all attractions. My family and I felt safe and secure here. There’s plenty of parking and space. The rooms and decorations are a little outdated but that’s the LEAST of any worries. This is your sign to book your stay here!”
