“The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and the shuttle service was prompt. However, none of the ice machines were in working order (I had to go to the dining area to get a bucket of ice) and the water pressure was pretty disappointing. In addition, in contrast to every other Hyatt Place I have stayed at, there was a charge for parking. If you need a nice room 5 minutes from the airport, the place is fine. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options.”

“Staff was very friendly! Room was about as expected. Although whatever chemical cleaners they used left a filmy residue on the floor and all surfaces. I felt slimy and the chemical fragrance was nauseating. I can't wait for public places to realize chemicals are harmful and start using natural products. The biggest problem was the EMF radiation I felt for 2 nights there. It buzzed my entire body and I couldn't sleep the 1st night and the 2nd was worse. I had a migraine and couldn't wait to leave there, I'm so glad I only booked 2 days/nights. You can see a huge power plant right outside my window here in my photo. Also annoying was the Major construction on the road in front of the hotel. Hazardous if unfamiliar with the area and approaching from the East headed West and trying to make a left turn into their drive.”

“We were married here 10 years ago right after the renovations were completed. We went back recently to have drinks to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and I have to say it felt dumpy. The drinks were the best part but even that was missing the mark. When you ask for a dirty martini and it is delivered in a wine glass because “we are out of martini glasses” doesn't give the 4-star experience we were looking for. We ordered their flat bread, which tasted great, but that took 45 min from order to delivery to our table. The floors were dirty and the furniture could use some reupholstering. The staff were gossiping behind the bar and the curtain to prevent you from seeing the kitchen area could use some love - It reminded me of a shower curtain. Overall, it was sad to see that the pride in appearance that was their 10 years ago was missing. It’s the little details that make or break an experience and this was missing the mark for me. I almost wish I had not gone back as to not ruin the memories of what amazing service we experienced when we were married there compared to today.”

“They are trash. Do not stay here. We booked suite with 2 rooms(one room w 2 queen bed and other w 1 queen bed) connected. They have double booked this room and tried to charge us for another room when we arrived for check in. They have let the previous person in that suite extended while it was already booked for our stay. They gave us two bedroom with one queen bed per room. Now we 2 of us need to sleep on sofa instead of bed. They have completely ruined our trip in Austin. There were so unprofessional on apologizing.”

“Room was clean, had plenty of space and furniture, and was quiet. The view out the windows was half good with some green. Several drawer pulls were missing though. And one of the panes a double-pane window was gone with bits left in the frame. The gym had plenty of space with a cable machine, but missing some weights. The breakfast had several hot meats to choose from but the oatmeal was instant type. There were a lot of tree trucks parked on the road because the hotel has a contract with the city's tree cutting service. There's another hotel going up across the street so some construction traffic on the entrance road right now.”

“The hotel was very clean and safe. The check in was seamless and the clerk even linked my honors points even though I booked third party. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It was your average Continental but very good. We made it with 15 min to finish and it was still fully stocked. Our room was close to elevator but didn’t hear a thing. I will def stay again. The only Con: I wasn’t given free beverage being a Hilton honor. I’m use to getting at least 2 water bottles lol”

“Great hotel. I've to this hotel before in past. Good location for any to have access to the highway to travel through the great city of Austin. The Domain shopping center is nearby and as well as other amenities. The downside is that the morning breakfast hours are very inconvenient since other hotels offer better breakfast schedule hours. Staff are very helpful and the atmosphere is excellent.”

“My company Amazing Art Expo did a Disney, Star Wars, Anime art event at the Holiday Inn Midtown the weekend of Feb 1-3rd and my staff and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. I want to first state, the rooms were incredibly clean, comfortable and the beds were very comfortable to a point where I slept better here than I do in my regular bed at home. The parking was plentiful and free and my staff and I felt safe with the surroundings that each night we walked to a restaurant without any worries. In first contacting the hotel about a month prior to the event, I spoke to Angie Mitschke who took the time to go over potential dates and respecting my budgetary needs, Angie worked extensively with me to accommodate our budget and reserve the ballrooms for us. I then proceeded to communicate with Mayra Lopez. Mayra was very adamant about making certain our room setup fit our expectations and her communication with me was outstanding. Despite our move-in date scheduled for Friday morning, Feb 1st, I requested at the last minute if we could unload the merchandise in our truck on Thursday afternoon in order to save time. Mayra and Angie both made this possible which gave us much more time to set up on Friday. This was a very nice add on and was greatly appreciated. The ballroom setup person (unfortunately I forgot his name) often checked in with us to see if we needed any service. Needless to say, the staff went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this hotel and I plan to do future business with them.”

Be aware, the walls are quite thin, so it’s easy to hear the neighbors. Highly recommend for summer visits to make the most of the inviting pool. It’s a great spot to have fun with friends. “I was in town for a conference but wanted to be close to the highway and places to eat. I was happy to find the Fairfield Inn & Suites by The Domain. I reserved a king bed suite, which was quite spacious. The separate living area is great to sit and chill or eat a meal. The desk has more than enough outlets, which means it was designed with today's person in mind. I didn't find any USB outlets, so that can be an issue for some. The bed isn't the most luxurious, but it's decent. I slept well and I had a room facing the highway. I'm not a light sleeper, but I didn't even hear the highway or the train nearby. Overall, this is a great value. The front desk team is polite and very cordial. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good too minus the turkey sausage.”

“It was a good airport hotel for me and my Mom for our layover in Austin airport. It’s near the hotel but disappointed that their shuttle service is not 24/7. It was quiet! The room was clean and beddings comfortable. Their hot breakfast was basic compared to other Hilton properties with free breakfast. But delighted with the welcome bag with bottled water and chips for being a Hilton honors member. Staff were nice and friendly!”

“I was in town on business and I stayed here for a month. The rooms are spacious and the TV huge but do not expect local stations. The beds are very comfortable and the staff helpful. However there is only one working elevator and that works most of the time. They say they are upgrading the elevators but due to global supply issues, there is a significant delay. The supply chain has been fixed for two years. Breakfast is best eaten elsewhere as they are down to hard boiled eggs and oatmeal. There are a few pieces of bread and Eggos but eat elsewhere. Only coffee and water too. It was a quiet stay but the experience could have been better.”

“I've stayed several times at this hotel and I'm usually in their King Studio room which is pretty spacious and very accommodating with everything I need. The bedding is always comfortable the rooms are clean not fancy the Furnishing is a little dated in my opinion but nevertheless for the price point the rooms are nice. I'm only there on business so therefore I am not looking for entertainment but it doesn't seem to have anything close by for entertainment and not many dining options close by but that's not an issue for me. Several other hotels are right next door as well. Free parking which is nice and convenience location to where I need to go for work. The breakfast is pretty good they have a few options the waffle is nice.”

“We love E 6th in general, but this has to be the best addition in a long time! It has an awesome view and good cocktails (strong), my only complaint is too much garnish and I don’t love the plastic cups. It can get VERY crowded so I definitely recommend going earlier in the evening or during the week. It has an exclusive speakeasy vibe which makes it feel really cozy. Perfect spot for pictures, enjoying the sunset, or taking out of towners for the city views.”

“We booked a last minute trip to Austin and were looking for pet friendly options. The hotel was very welcoming to pets and their humans alike. The staff were very prompt in service and friendly. Smiling faces all around. The valet Patrick was super friendly and very helpful! There was a pet fee of $75. Would encourage a pet relief area in the hotel if possible as the grassy spots close by are few and with the traffic poses a challenge.”
