“Good ambience. Has unique style and calm and peaceful place. Has Auroville beach at a walkable distance. We checked in around 6.00pm evening, they said check out is 11Am but will give grace time up till 11.30AM. We did booking at hotel only charged Rs. 1500 for 2 members . They didn't extend check in and checkout time as they have given in the post. As we got late in getting ready, we had to hurry up and vacated room around 11.50Am.Other than that pleasant stay. Neatly maintained. Good place for family to have fun.”

“Beautiful place I must say , donata is amazing powerhouse , a rare sight to see these days but few points about the staffs and their attitude - something that might have developed over years . This is India and we love harmony and being social anywhere .. not to be made feel I have entered some foreign land of one’s imagination .. Ajith one of her staff gave me a feeling that I am first timer at her place and faked such an accent and authority to pay the pending amount before even allowing us to settle with our luggage .. I was happy to pay the remaining amount but this was coming from a guy who lives in Auroville inspired by the preachings of the place . Second I am sure , given the beautiful philosophical vibe around the place I would expect him and his masters not to lie around swimming pool under renovation -a complete lie .. be honest and straightforward .. if you have closed it down just because you wanted the pool to be used for relatives from Europe it’s absolutely fine , we are more than happy but please see that you don’t trigger us given the amount you charge for the stay …I am sure Shri aurobindo or Shri Ma would not love to see this inequality in a land of equality . Anyway all the best”

“I went there twice. It was once in July 2023 - had amazing experience, room was clean and is cozy to stay in. Food was great and service was great as well. Loved walking on the beach and exploring Pondi and loved how they arranged auto on request. Next went in Jan 2024 - was not up to the mark this time. The room was not properly cleaned as there were hair lying everywhere; the comforter and the pillow cases were stinky - hence please check and let them know before you move your stuff in. There was torrential rain this time hence the water was leaking in the dining area. Request the management to please get it fixed. My husband got some of the leaking water in his eye while getting breakfast, and by afternoon, that eye got red, swollen and filled with pus. Plus, please note that they mention they provide Laundry service. It is purely based on availability. We did not get laundry service during our stay, despite requesting and asking them to inform us when the laundry-person becomes available. However, room service is excellent; courteous staff; food is good, and the location and the resort vibe is a ten on ten. Check the weather before you plan the trip. We were not anticipating heavy rainfall this time due to which we could not enjoy the beach and other locations.”
