“A very cozy cave hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to Urgup, where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The whole hotel compound is spacious, there are areas where we can just sit down and enjoy the scenery. Room is spacious and clean. However, we can’t adjust the heater, so it was quite warm at night. Another “problem” is, there were some small sand falling from the ceiling. However it is not a big deal, we just need to dust them off. In fact, it made our cave hotel experience more exotic. The staffs are very warm and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with them. You can feel that they are very sincere and kind. We also love the hotel dog Lemon. He is very gentle and loving. The overall stay in Dere Suite was excellent. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.”

“I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The night I checked in the receptionist, didn’t know English at all. I had trouble to understand, and to communicate with her using a google translator. Somehow, I managed to check in. I was lucky to meet the gentleman who is a trainee at the same hotel, I would like to name him (Ali). he was really really helpful. He knew English really well and just to let you know that he knew five languages and he is only 20. At the time of check-in both my suitcases were broken by Turkish airlines and I needed to buy reasonable quality suitcase for my onward journey. In a small town it was a struggle to buy suitcase at night. Ali was helpful to organise a taxi for me and even accompanied me to help me to buy suitcases. Reception staff even couldn’t tell me that there is a restaurant who provides room Service. I came to know on the very last day that there is a restaurant and there is a room Service, which of course I utilised on my last night. Rooms were nice, spacious and air-conditioning was working well. Breakfast was available 4 levels below the reception and there was no lift. People who struggle to go down the stairs and come back again, will not be able to enjoy the breakfast at all ( I am one of them). There was no room service for the breakfast. We did not avail the breakfast service even for a single day. At the time of checkout in the morning, I had two big suitcases and requested for bellboy to get my luggage to the car. Unfortunately, they told me that there is no bellboy available before 7 am. I persisted. Somehow they managed a person who could get my luggage to the car which was appreciated. So for a four star hotel person with a reasonable knowledge of English should be available so that the basic communication can be established. This is tourist place, we came all the way from Australia to see this place( Cappadocia). I would not recommend this place to foreigners, save your money and go elsewhere with better staff hospitality.”

“This is the most interesting and beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in, with a lot of history. Each room is unique and gorgeous in it’s own way, while remaining comfortable and clean. The service was impeccable and the staff are helpful. The man at reception is very kind. I asked him a few difficult questions and he went above and beyond to help me. The food here is also incredible. I recommend this as a once in a lifetime stay. The location is a little out of the main town in Cappadocia, but it’s lovely and quiet (everything else makes up for that).”

“Views from the room were nice. The room had a bathtub and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Cozy rooms. Location wise, it's far from main Cappodocia and hence, if restaurant is closed, it would be difficult to find food due to lack of restaurants. One should use Yemeksemeti food delivery app. The staff try to help using Google translator, which I found nice & interesting. They don't pack breakfasts though.”

“This is a beautiful hotel, with a brand new pool. However, we ate here two nights for dinner. One of them was decent, one was dreadful. Breakfasts are okay. Plenty of hot water in the shower, but no counter space in the bathroom. And, I have two huge gripes 1) there is no AC, my room stayed 27° C (80°+ Fahrenheit) too hot for sleeping. If I opened the window I heard all the noise from out in the town and smelled all the cigarette smoke wafting up from the reception area. 2) There is smoking everywhere!”

They are interested in you and your comfort, rather than tips. The hotel is within walking distance to the City center, where one can find many restaurants and stores. The Mediterranean breakfast spread, which is served on the rooftop is huge and filling. The eggs, cooked and served in a copper skillet are delicious, don't miss them! The rooftop offers superb views of the rocky surroundings.”
