“I stayed here last night due to a snowstorm coming in. I work in Naperville but reside in Oak Lawn and didn’t want to deal with the morning commute. Upon walking inside, I was greeted by one gentleman and another, named Omar. I felt out of place at first because I’m usually a 3 star hotel gal but decided I needed to treat myself. Omar almost immediately was able to change that and made me feel very welcomed and more confident about my decision. When I walked into the room, it looked exactly like the pictures online. My first thing that had to be done was getting a nice bath and it has been a while since I felt that relaxed. I was going to order room service but was very limited on what I could get so I ordered food from a delivery company which wasn’t a hassle to have delivered to the desk. I liked how you could turn all the lights off with one button while exiting, or turn them on when coming inside the room. Literally my only complaint is the bed was too hard for me personally so I only got 3 hours of sleep. The pillows were so comfy, I liked the duvet, but the bed I just had an issue with and couldn’t get comfortable no matter what. If the beds were a little softer, I’d probably consider staying again when I decide to treat myself. But I definitely recommend staying here if that’s not an issue for you!”

“This hotel is just SUPER legit - great location, fantastic amenities, and phenomenal staff. Regarding the latter, Ashley at the front desk was simply amazing: warm, welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. When we checked in, she made a point to alert us that there was "an event happening in the restaurant below us, that may make some noise until mid-evening;" and then told us to let her know if it was bothersome at all (which it wasn't). When my wife mentioned (in passing) her pet allergies (it's an animal-friendly hotel), Ashley immediately commiserated - noting HER allergies, and encouraged us to let us know if there was ANY problem at all with our room (there wasn't). This kind of service, kindness, and personal attentiveness simply doesn't happen any more! The rooms themselves are GREAT. The downtown Riverwalk is a pretty happening locale these days - but the in room heat unit allows for a constant fan that creates a comforting white noise, blanketing any street noise that might otherwise interfere with sleep. Speaking of sleep, the beds are AWESOME - I rarely sleep well in hotels, but had a GREAT night's sleep. And the shower is huge with excellent water pressure. All in all, a truly first-rate hotel experience - one of the best we've had. Thank you Ashley - and everyone at Indigo - for making us feel so at home!! :-)”

“I have been a wine club member for many years and have NOT had a "bad" bottle or glass. We LOVE all the different types of wines. My family and I enjoy stopping in for a glass and also love the meat and cheese trays. They also offer great items to take home and give as gifts. My daughter recently got engaged on the property in Roselle and a HUGE shout out to Ryan for helping make it happen! The entire staff is very helping. My husband and I have even stayed in the B&B. The attention to detail in our Italian themed room was overwhelming. We are so lucky to have a gem like Lynfred is the suburbs!”

She was the only person there serving food and drinks. She did it in a very timely manner as well. I recommend this place for a night cap. The rest of the crew enjoyed the evening as well.”

“The hotel overall is very nice. The service is spot on; very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping to hotel manager.They are also very accommodating if you need something special. The hotel is modern with a lot of conveniences you'd expect. The complimentary breakfast is the same as any other free breakfast; eggs, bacon, hash browns. Parking And security is very good too. The only issues that I had was the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms. We found a used soap bar in the shower, coffee maker still had the used coffee grounds packet in the machine and the carafe wasn't washed. There was also hair on the sheets for the sofa bed. As for upkeep, the kitchen cabinets need to be replaced; they are very worn and it looks really bad. The shower has old caulking. It looks like maintenance just put a another layer of caulking over it. The wall above the headboard has been patched and painted however the paint doesn't match. Takeaway, the hotel is a solid 4, but be aware that housekeeping and maintenance don't look at the details. They simply do just enough to get by.”

Gym is good but could use a new stationary bike and they do have guest passes for Lifetime Fitness around the corner. Only complaint is the mattress is older, also wished they recycled plastics, aluminum and glass. Breakfast is good as complimentary but not worth the $16 if not.”

“This place is a must for a quick trip or a one night stay! Could not beat the price of less than 100$ for what we got! Bed and room was very clean, I work in healthcare so I could tell that this place actually does a thorough job cleaning. Bed was comfortable for someone who has serious back issues. There was no elevator, but staff accommodated to putting us on the first floor. Pet friendly, but was not loud at all! Had a nice fridge, microwave and the AC unit worked perfect. “They say pictures are worth a thousand words,.. well the pictures on their website in this room we got was a big disappointment! The pictures are over a decade old it seems cause the room did not look like the cute room they showed.. when you walk in it didn't smell great, more like a old stuffy room.. every part of the carpet has stains,.. curtains that used to be white are yellow,.. walls bare with no pictures/missing, corner light/lamp did not work. Bathroom hanger that holds towels coming out of the wall.. all 90's old furniture,.. chair was broken and couch had its day. The bed mattress had that dip in the middle causing bad sleep. The kitchen was clean and the tiny bathroom was clean too.. the soap dispenser was empty. Otherwise a great place.”

“A great example of a clean hotel. I've seen some pretty dirty hotels, and some very clean hotels in my time. This was one of the few that caught me off guard. Exceptionally clean and quiet. The pricing was also right. The bed sheets were very warm, but otherwise the room was great. We didn't get to try out the pool, but we had a look. It looked clean and well kept. Not much more to say, which is a good thing. It was an easy stay.”
