“Really nice place near the lake. Very crowded in July, beach and camping. Camping lots are rather small. Clean facilities, quiet at night. Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant- but not that friendly waiters. Sunset is at 8.45pm but kitchen closes at 9pm… so no dessert after 9 😕 …”

“I was a bit skeptical of this place because of the funny name but I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong! The room was clean, comfortable and well sized, the service was good, and the breakfast was BOMB! Location is also good although Velden is quite small so it’s hard to have a bad location per se. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Velden.”

“The rooms in the hotel are extremely dirty and full of dust under the bed and on top of the wardrobe, which is why we couldn't sleep during the night. The hotel charges hotel guests for water consumption, which is not included in the dinner price, which is completely absurd. Likewise, the hotel doesn't have an adapted menu for children. Avoid this hotel!”
