“We loved this hotel. The price was great. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views from the room would be hard to beat. Having a small gas fireplace in the room was a much appreciated bonus. That little fireplace kept the room nice and warm all night while adding a relaxing ambiance the entire time. The bed was clean and super comfortable. The pillows were good! Not your normal pancake thin pillows that don't hold your head up. There was a full closet to store your belongings and hang your clothes. We didn't go down to the hot tub on this trip, but it was hot and ready for anyone who wanted to relax with a snow-covered beach to look at while enjoying it. As another bonus, Heidi's Pancake house is located in the same parking lot. So it is a quick walk from the hotel, and you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. There are also grocery stores and other places to eat right down the street. The location is great.”

“Super cute place!! I had never stayed at a hostel before but and was a bit apprehensive for my first time but I am SUCH a fan now. The front desk girl helped me and my friend end up in the same room which was super clutch as we had made bookings in different rooms by accident. The amenities are super clean and convenient. Location is amazing. We just walked to all the bars and food/shopping. Free parking too! Coming from the bay this is so appreciated. Made a little snack and some drinks too with ease :) The owners and their friends are the nicest people. Super down to earth and answered all our questions and were down to just hang and have a good time. Genuinely sad that we weren't in South Lake for longer but looking forward to the next time for sure!!”

“My family and I had the worst experience at this Holiday Inn Express. The attendant staff repeatedly emphasized that it was independently owned, implying that corporate complaints would be futile. This lack of acknowledgment of basic customer service standards was disappointing. A male staff displayed bias towards my inquiries and even mocked my foreign accent. The in-room phone was non-functional, the entry door had a noticeable crack, and a cold draft persisted throughout the night, one of the pillows had brown stains on them. When I inquired about the check-out procedure due to an incident where cleaning staff entered our room at 9:30 am, I was told with a response indicating that if I failed to inform the front desk upon check-out, I would be charged for an extra day. I requested to speak with the manager, but I was told she was unavailable and advised to send an email. However, I received no response to my email until three days after our departure, with the manager's reply shifting the blame onto me. Their unwillingness to assist was evident, with dismissive phrases like "There is nothing I can do," leaving me feeling disregarded and disrespected. Their consistently rude demeanor made me feel like a second-class guest.”

“My parter and I recently spent 2 nights camping here. This campground is conveniently located, spacious, and pretty. The camp host was nice and helpful. The bathrooms (which have flushing toilets) where clean but missing seat covers and hand soap. This campground is surrounded by city so be aware that you'll hear city sounds. I would definitely stay here again!”

“This hotel is remodeled. It looks very new. Room is clean and updated. Breakfast is okay. I wish they have oatmeal and more fruit. Fruit run out all the time. That I like about this hotel is free changing EV, very Per-friendly. This is the first time I have seen so many dogs in the hotel. No one complains no dog allowed in the lobby even the dog barked. People are chatting and enjoying the time with friends and families in the lobby with their dog. The lobby is quite big with a bar. Coffee and hot water provides at all time. I love it. I will definitely come back here.”
