“This has become one of our favorite stops when we do road trips. The location is amazing-anything you could need is literally steps away. The rooms are very comfortable and always clean without smelling like cleaning chemicals. Parking is so easy-they have free valet, but also a HUGE, free, safe lot right out front. It’s pet friendly and they never miss on this when you tell them you’re bringing them along (bowls ready in the room with a free treat and bottled water, pup always greeted). There’s coffee in the room and the lobby and a table in the room with fun, for purchase snacks. It’s the staff, though, that makes this place so great and easy. They are always available, kind, patient…and we are dumbfounded as to how this is always the case here as it’s not anywhere else. One of the times we stayed our room faced the street by a church and we were worried about the noise Sunday for our newer rescue pup-they immediately switched our room and were so sweet about it. Yes, it’s industrial (it’s the vibe), yes it has a scent in the common areas (not in the rooms and the scent is never overbearing), would the lighting maybe be trickier or you’re a late Xer and up? Maybe? But we love the set up and not every style choice is for everyone that's why so many hotels exist, but THIS place is amazing all around in our opinion. Special thanks to Oralia and Olivia. “We had a nice stay at this hotel over the weekend. We picked this location due to having the restaurant inside & it was a great choice, the food was yummy and the service was great. Football was on all weekend without having to ask. Rooms were clean and safe. Biggest qualm is they only had 1 elevator running the entire weekend and there was a big conference being hosted in addition to a colts home game (front desk said it was sold out) - so sometimes it took awhile to get around. I climbed 5 flights of stairs more than once, so something to keep in mind if you rely on elevators. Overall I recommend this hotel.”

“We stayed here when the Browns were in town and were absolutely blown away with how trendy the rooms were for the price. Absolutely loved the high ceilings and brick. Super large rooms with plenty of space, worked great for our family (we have a 4 and 10 year old, so room to play is so appreciated). The pool could have been warmer, but that's my only criticism. The location to the stadium was great. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff here. It is run by a group of young people who always had a smile, a sweet word, or were ready to help if needed. They brought an energy and helpful spirit in every aspect. The campground is spotless, they pick up your garbage for you, plenty of washers and dryers in the laundry room. It was too cold for the water park but the horses and goats were friendly and a nice amusing touch. The owner made me laugh out loud with his guidelines. It is a joyous place all around. David Coomer and I enjoyed it tremendously and loved our site.”

“We dropped into this funky boutique hotel on the recommendation of an Instagram friend. We were already booked at another hotel so didn’t check out the rooms but we did get a tour of the common areas. The lobby is really open and welcoming, and upstairs there is a nice common kitchen and really well thought out digital workspace. The interior design elements are really impressive. We spoke to some people who used the common area spaces while staying there and they loved the space. What we did do was sample some food, mocktails and coffee in their restaurant. The offerings - and prices - clearly catered European/North American palates. Two cappuccino were RM18 (CDN $5.20). While inexpensive by European/North American standards the cappuccino were nothing special and not nearly as good as the excellent Malaysian coffee available at the various Kopitiam in KK, where two coffees were routinely available for RM4.40 (CDN $1.25); and honestly we preferred the local brew. Mocktails were very well executed and good value for the money at an average of RM12.5 (CDN $3.60) each. We didn’t have any alcoholic cocktails but other reviewers rate them very highly. We tried two dishes from their interesting food menu: soft shelled crab risotto and curry laksa. The risotto was well executed and delicious, and good value for money at RM26.30 (CDN $7.15). The curry laksa was a bold attempt at a different take on a famous Borneo offering, but it fell a bit short for us. At RM22.80 (CDN $6.55) there are far better options for laksa in KK. Finally, we want to offer a caution re: the tours that are offered at the front desk. The English-speaking staff were very helpful in arranging the two tours we decided to book through them. We booked a tour of Kota Kinabalu National Park and a hot springs, as well as a Proboscis Monkey and Firefly tour. However, both tours were very disappointing, with poor guides, dubious food and poor organization. We recommend that you shop around for options before booking a tour here.”

“Leaving 1 STAR FOR THIS LOCATION because I can’t leave ZERO. Within 3 minutes of searching the room I found narcotics on the carpet floor. Having a young child I was very upset. Could’ve ruined our whole trip if he would’ve accidentally swallowed it. Their cleaning staff is lazy. Not thorough. I work in pest control & found it right away. Made a case complaint , took it to the ASSISTANT MANAGER, and was told we’ll get $40 knocked off of a 500 stay. While being a diamond member. Unacceptable for the amount of concern they had. If you have infants be sure to check the rooms before you get comfortable! Their negligence of cleaning appropriately could send a loved one to the hospital. Also being a United States veteran the service & communication with staff was a chore. They act like they run off of a 6% battery.”

“Day we came in the front desk staff was upset we didn't park in a long line of cars to check in. Rather we used the ramp connected to the hotel. They said next time wait and don't pull a ticket... what in the world... unfriendly at the front desk.. pool was closed reporting a water leak. When asked to stay in the block of rooms with others in our group. We were told a flat out lie which I don't care to go into. Location is great, good atmosphere, quiet rooms, breakfast is good, restaurants around are great. Would I stay here again.. if it was for a group of us being here then no. That is due to mainly the poor experience from the front desk and over the two days we were there. Oh and the tv never got past 2 channels.. not that we were in the room much.”

“Do I think the pictures match up to the room expectations? Definitely not, far from it. There’s very little light, 90% of the furniture there was covered in some dirty strain and, the beds ( along with bedsheets, pillows, etc) were very cheap and uncomfortable. The bed was very hard and felt like sleeping on a flat surface table in my honest opinion. The only reason there is 3 stars is before the hotel failed all my expectations besides service. The ladies that were there when I checked in and out were amazing and provided great costumer service.”

“Windows are screwed shut. Nobody is at the desk half the time. When someone is at the desk they are rude and condescending. Hallway smells like weed every night, probably because all the windows are screwed shut. Maids set thermostat at whatever they want and leave it while you aren’t there. Theres a threat they are going to charge you for missing items like towels but the number of towels they put in the room is never the same. The lower level hallway smells like raw sewage. The lobby chairs are put up on the tables for half the day multiple times a week denying guests use of the lobby. They arbitrarily reset the locks forcing you to go to the desk to get another key. When you get to the desk there is an excuse sign as to why nobody is there. Front desk tried to engage me in an argument over this review, I declined. These people have no business running a hotel. Registered agent for the LLC has a bogus address listed. Its another crack hotel in another town. Fire marshal and health department were very interested in the windows being screwed shut. Probably not a safe place for children or the elderly to stay. “Walking distance to many restaurants” ROTFL. Better get that in before dark and be well prepared to defend yourself. Watch the news while you eat breakfast and I bet you decide not to walk anywhere around here. Park your car in front of your room window and keep a constant eye on it. Make sure you lock it and don’t leave valuables visible. Read their responses to other poor reviews, absolutely mind blowing. They threaten people and tell them they cannot use the leisure amenities because their employer paid for the room for business. Disgusting! They call people liars. Pay with AMEX so you can chargeback the whole amount when they put bogus charges on your card. From reading reviews thats a common occurrence. If you need to chargeback a bogus fee direct the bank to the reviews. Bogus fees is a recurring theme. I didn’t see any bugs but now that I have read numerous reviews I should have looked for them. I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. Go on ahead and give me one of your passive aggressive responses, I dare you.”

The associates are always happy to stay here and always claim they are treated very well. They enjoy the cleanliness, and breakfast included.
