“Alamanda was absolutely amazing! The staff was amazing, the pools were friendly for everyone. With a spa, a warm pool, a cold pool and even an adults pool! Its location is beyond amazing, being right on the beach. It’s nice and quiet at night, with the slight touch of waves hitting the shore. The massage at the spa was sensational, with friendly staff. I definitely recommend Alamanda, for people of all ages! Thank you for the wonderful experience 🥰🥰”

“Had my mini honeymoon here, loved it. Yes it's pricey but you do get great value for money. Lovely rooms, great food and inclusions. Punch every day, great pools and restaurant and beautiful area. We had dinner here one night, was amazing and romantic. Very accommodating for vegetarian or vegans. Pancakes at breakfast was yummy, and the tea selection was very good. We enjoyed the staff being helpful and the little touches like welcome drinks, room diffuser and water for the airport upon check out. My only two minor issues were other guests hogging the sun lounges even before 8am (they'd put a book down and not appear for hours) and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Will happily return for another getaway.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. Richard is a gem (front desk) and he helped us with excursions on many occasions. Our room had an AMAZING view of the bay. The service was fabulous, the pool was great, the restaurant had delicious food, the breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and the location is walkable to downtown Cairns (note: this hotel is at the end of town, for some, this may be a little far. For us, it was no problem. We walked everywhere).”

“We stayed on the ground floor in a 3bedroom poolside penthouse. We arrived after reception had closed though Natalie was still onsite to greet us, provide keys and chat with us about great places to eat in the area. Lots of room for our family of 6. Loved the easy access from our room to the pool. A huge pool and from our outdoor area able to supervise our kids in the water. A quiet place with close walking proximity to shops and dining areas. Rooms were clean with lots of space. We loved our time at Cairns Vision Apartments and I’m sure in time we will be back for another stay.”

Location is right on the esplanade and close to lots of good food places and shops. The staff are super friendly and met some great people at this hostel. “A bit older units, but very clean and comfortable. The staff is great. Chris was so helpful and even carried our bag to the second floor. The pool was refreshing on the hot humid days. This is the only hotel I have been to that let's you use the pool, provide showers, changing room and luggage storage while waiting for your flight. Yes I recommend!”

“Location is wonderful, right on Palm Cove beach. Close to shops, restaurants and amenities. Parking available. Rooms are clean and large, a tad dated with a few small broken fixtures but nothing I personally worried about. The pool area is excellent for children especially, it’s large and shallow for large sections. They provide pool noodles and balls etc which is a small but great touch for occupying children. Great reclining arm chairs and umbrellas as well. We were located right at the top floor and if I came again I’d ask for a floor level as the kids were in and out of the pool all day but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.”

The rooms are extremely spacious, the hosts are extremely friendly, the pool is large, clean and beautiful. The rooms are complete with every amenity that you need. Very clean also. At 160m each room is about double the size of the places nearby and it makes a HUGE difference! It's absolutely wonderful. Great for a family. It even has a toddler section to the pool of you've got little ones. Palm Cove itself is just a lovely part of the world also!”

Very good service, would recommend to anyone as a budget apartments , I am very glad the manager was friendly and helpful and willing to fix concerns that were brought to him. Will be coming back to the apartments everytime in Cairns. Very nice pool as well , very happy with the understanding of the manager.”
