“Had an amazing stay at the Byron Crystalbrook. From the minute we checked in we felt at home. The room was spacious, the pool was warm, the service was exceptional. Loved having the bikes to ride around and the gym and sauna to use. You don’t need to leave! The restaurant had delicious food and great yummy drinks. Will be back again very soon hopefully!”

“Booked a private room with private toilet. The toilet was not clean when we checked in, got a new room where there were black long hairs and dirt on the floor. Mentioned to staff a second time and they blamed it on that it had been very busy the day before - not my problem excuse. They said they could clean our room extra the following day which never happened. Atmosphere in Hostel was very quite and dead if you want a quite/ un-social hostel.”

“During our stay on a motorhome site, we noticed that the ground was not entirely flat, causing water to pool in one side of the shower and sink. However, the amenities were fantastic! Showers and toilets were very clean and we used the laundry facilities and clotheslines. Although the overall cost was a bit higher than other options in the area, the location was unbeatable and it was the only available option at the time. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a lovely experience.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at The Atlantic, and are already planning our return! The rooms are spacious, tastefully appointed and immaculately kept. The property itself is a peaceful oasis which offers complete privacy and quietude to guests despite being ideally located right in the middle of Byron town. No attention to detail has been spared, from the artwork to the shared kitchens to the surfboards and bicycles available for use; to the well-curated selection of gifts and homewares on offer for purchase. We found the staff to be warm, friendly and willing to assist with whatever we needed. Very grateful; can’t wait to be back.”

“Stayed over the Oct long weekend. The staff are really 5 star. So friendly and helpful from the reception to the room team. The hotel is a little worn around the edges but the linen is spotless and the beds super comfortable. The additional touches like evening wine tasting, breakfast coffee and apples all day just make it feel so welcoming. And the location is outstanding with beach less than 100 metres outside the front doors. And the location means you don't get too much noise at night. It's the second time we have stayed with Waves and will definitely be back.”
