“This place is very special. It’s a hidden gem that I want to keep all to myself but they deserve the business from everyone. The service is phenomenal and the rooms are updated and well maintained with very nice views. The staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive, from the restaurant, to the front desk, to the cleaning crew, to the porters. The location is a bit away from the popular touristy areas but still good. There is no train station in this town but the ferry is right in front of the hotel and taxis are easy to obtain (or you can rent a car). The area itself is beautiful and peaceful and quiet at night (the restaurants all shut down before midnight so no real nightlife). Staying here is like living inside a dream. A great place for artists, dreamers, and those that want to immerse themselves in a picturesque Italian coastal town, while still staying in luxurious and convenient accommodations.”

“Lovely hotel, beautiful views, loved the pool area and all of the lounge areas to sit overlooking the water. Good location right on the hiking trail. We extended our stay and had to move from the partial ocean view room to the smallest room with no view. It was very small with nowhere to lay out your luggage. It was fine as we already knew we’d spend most of our time outside, but I wouldn’t book this room again if I had the choice.”

“Really nice location if you want to pamper yourself a little. Stunning view. We had a lodge. Restaurant attached. Food was good, the waiter a little confused and we did not get all our food at the same time. The lodge itself is nice enough but renovations are needed, especially in the bathroom (really not acceptable in a 4 star residence). Lots of German people here. Breakfast was yummy (apart from apricots). I would have been happy to join a Yoga lesson, but there are only individual lessons offered. Lovely also for honeymoon. Nothing else around, so bring enough water and some insect repellant. Friendly staff, family friendly 😀. We loved the pool”

There is no food service in the afternoon so if you are hungry, you will need to starve until dinner. There is no parking, took us an hour or driving around to find finally a spot. If you want late checkout past 10:30am it’s 50 euros. Pros: great buffet selection and good quality food, Beautiful marina across from hotel. Pool is OK. Friendly staff. I wouldn’t come again.”

It’s not extremely luxurious but the location is absolutely perfect, the bathroom was so clean, the shower pressure was amazing (for girls with long hair), the beds were firm but comfortable and the service was the best we’ve had our whole trip. Manuel the man who worked the front office with two earrings was so helpful and courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we knew where we were going and was so kind and sweet. He even helped us carry our bags in from the car. The location couldn’t have been better you are just a few minutes from the beautiful beach at Monterosso. Also there is gated parking for everyone staying at the hotel which was so great. Also the street was very quiet at nighttime, no trouble sleeping. I would definitely go back!”

Staff is really helpful and friendly and will give you ideas on what to do if you aren't sure what to do. Had a great time. Only cons are the rooms are a little small and you can hear the trains but not that loud. I would definitely come back and get a room with the ocean view.”

“Prefect location! It is a 3-4 minute walk to the train station. There is a room to store luggage if needed before check in or after check out. My room was spacious and overlooked the plaza. The AC was a Godsend in June! I did have a fridge in the room. I personally liked the breakfast that was included downstairs. I am not sure why bad reviews on the breakfast - yogurt, croissants, bread, juice, coffee. Everything you need for breakfast in Italy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend a stay here!”
