“As you walk in you think wow really cool, looks medieval. The friendly staff are helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Laundry is free to use (but messy I had to fix the light) BUT, the room was a bit disappointing and very impracticable, with nowhere to put anything. The fridge had too much stuff in it for you to buy, IE coke, Mars bars, beer etc. So not much room to put your stuff in there. Very annoying. The bathroom was old in fact the place is old and starting to show it, The bathroom tiles hadn't had a good scrub for a long time, and the shower rose grotty. Holes in the carpet on the stairs. You can have dinner brought to your room (extra charge) There is 1 chair that doesn't fit under a writing desk (very nice looking one) but is totally useless where does the second person sit? A simple table would be better. The cupboard hiding the fridge won't close and torn curtain. Even the TV was dirty Sadly I can't recommend this place. And it's not cheap.”

“Rooms are trash. Don't stay here. Smokers outside my room the whole night and my kids who have asthma basically had to sleep in the bathroom. According to management, they were fine to smoke sitting on your front door steps. Never go here”

“Stayed here and loved it. everything was good. well priced for what you get. comfortable rooms with super nice renovated bathrooms. bedrooms were generous in size with a fridge and basin. the food over at the club was great for the price. breakfast very cheap ,dinner too. even cheaper with a club membership ! nothing special but good food fairly priced makes for a great stopover and i'd highly recommend it !”

“My wife found this place while she was walking around our accommodation. When we got tap beer in the hotel pub, we noticed the hotel is looking after their beer tap appropriately. The beers we got were one of the taste beer ever. Also the staffs were kind. We were feeling like this is how the hotel has been stand for long time in the Albury area. The food were also enough amount to fill out my hunger and the taste is good. All my family were happy with this hotel pub.”

“My group had a booking for 10 people and waited an hour and a half for our meals. We were warned there would be a wait, and we ordered a few entrees as suggested. After that we were abandoned until one of us asked where our meals were. Two tables of 6 that were seated after us were served their meals ahead of ours. The restaurant was only half full. I recognise places are struggling with staffing but train the staff you do have. Their ordering process was bizarre and they wasted the opportunity to keep us ordering drinks and entrees while we waited. On top of everything one meal was completely forgotten! The food was good but service awful. To their credit they gave us a round of drinks and then took our entrees off the order. It really ruined our celebration.”
