“Another win for Hampton Inn! We're moving a family member and have a U-Haul trailer in tow. Finding easy access parking is a challenge at times but this location has that covered. While there is no space in the parking lot for our combo, the street out front was perfect for the task. It's on a dead end street so through traffic was not a concern. Conveniently, I found a spot visible from our room. The room itself was great. 2 queen beds were very comfortable and allowed a good night's sleep for everyone. There was enough room to let us spread our stuff out and be comfortable during our early afternoon arrival and not too early departure. My only observation is that the entrance door on the East side of the building had a sign saying that it was locked at all times. It was open every time we went out to walk the dog. Maybe it's locked at night but, during the day and early evening, it was not. Breakfast was good and the dining area was spacious and well maintained.”

“I've wanted to stay here since it opened and I finally got my chance! The renovations are very well done. It's been modernized but has kept some of the historic charm. There's lots of things to see in the hallways and rooms that have to do with the original building. It's very interesting. The elevators still do weird stuff (they did when it was memorial hospital too) but the stairs aren't difficult to climb and the building is only 4 floors. The smaller building has been renovated as well but has been kept more original than the main building. It's all very pretty especially decorated for the holidays. It's an odd place so be prepared for that but it isn't scary or anything. We had a blast!”

“I love that this place felt like home. The casita we stayed in was equipped with dishes, extra heaters and blankets, which was nice. The breakfast dining room was the by far the best. The chef and staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious, the New Mexican style breakfast in front of the wood burning fire place was perfect for the aesthetic of this place. Let's not forget the hot tub area, I enjoyed the privacy and serene ambiance. Our stay here was perfect!”

“Exceeded my expectations is a cheap hotel. It certainly had its issues: paper thin walls through what you can hear everything your neighbors are doing well into the night, refrigerators that tend to be too cold and freeze the contents, shower curtains that barely contain the water so you have to be careful not to splash it all over the bathroom, and virtually no control over the temperature of the room. However, things were surprisingly clean and functional apart from those very noteworthy issues. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, as was the room in general. More good than bad, in my opinion. But what bumped this up from 3 to 4 stars for me was the service. The receptionist who works in the evenings in particular was very nice and helpful, and made me feel welcome during both of my stays.”

“I have to give this hotel five stars when measured against other budget hotels in Albuquerque. On the surface it would be very easy to drive right by this hotel and look for another. However, a few things to consider: they have gated parking, The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hotel management had a very family oriented vibe. There is a free breakfast. The rooms were very clean and reasonably well maintained. Overall the one night on a Sunday set us back under $70! As a bonus, if you are needing to be an Albuquerque for a medical appointment at one of the hospitals nearby this motel does offer special rates.”

“The hotel is older but completely renovated. It’s so cool because it has that old school Route 66 Americana feel to it but with a fun twist. The service was amazing and you would never get anything remotely close to that at the typical hotel chain companies. If you have kids they’ll love it here. It’s also located along a strip of fun shops and restaurants.”
