“I stayed at Perry Lane for a wedding. The staff was exceptional from check-in to valet. There was free champagne every day from 11-7. It was an excellent location to restaurants, bars, and the river district. The rooftop pool was beautiful. We did have lunch at the bar, and the views and service were great. The food was the only negative. We stayed in a suite, and the rooms were beautiful and quaint.”

“We just arrived for the week. I'll add more at the end of our vacation. We had a great time. The weather was wonderful. From the picture, the view from our balcony was beautiful. We stayed at Beach House on the Dunes #444 in the Beachside Colony Resort. Each room in the three bedroom condo has king beds. The mattresses were not new but certainly not too soft or springs poking in our backs. The furniture was horribly uncomfortable, worn out and old. While we never stay inside, we do spend a while in the evenings after dinner either sitting on the balcony or relaxing inside with family and friends. Not a chance with these furnishings. The front two bedrooms never get dark enough to sleep well. The walkways must be lit at night. However, the blinds on the windows don't block out the light in those bedrooms, making it difficult to sleep.”

“The house is only a few blocks from Forest Park and a 25 minute scenic and savory walk to the riverfront. The staff tell you they are located on the most beautiful street in Savannah and I agree. We stayed in the comfortable Chatham room whose entrance is on the street. We did not wake up with sore backs because of the mattress, and we felt very safe. You can hear walking above you in the parlor but it's not bad and non existent around 23:00. Breakfast was awesome as were the evening apps and dessert!!!! We visited in January for two nights and have stayed at a good many BnB's. I recommend this house.”

“Girls' trip to Savannah on Sept. 14-18, 2023 was so much fun😁. Our first visit & won't be our last. Our stay here was nice with the exception of housekeeping. We didn't ask for our room to be cleaned during our stay, but needed towels. You would think we asked for much more the way they reacted.🙄 They wouldn't give them to us, they had to deliver them; go figure- why!!! Hotel was nice & clean & not far from downtown. Angela & the lady who worked the evening shift on Thursday & Sunday were both very pleasant & accommodating. Our stay was more pleasant because of their hospitality. “Would not recommend to stay at this hotel. Stayed here from 12.30.23-1.1.24. As Hilton Gold member this place was a disaster. I am so disappointed with the stay here on New Years. As a boutique hotel it's far from being cozy, intimate, and having customized service for customers. There are multiple entrances to the property, with a public restaurant on the roof and therefore there is an array of people streaming through the floors and elevators. As a gold member we were given a city view (this is the floor above the street level). It is not an impressive view by any means. There were balcony river view rooms available online for booking at time of check in but we were not upgraded due to lack of "availability". The room was okay at first glance, however there were many questionable stains on the curtains and lamps, cracked bedside lamp cover, dust, lack of hot water in the shower, mildew smell in the bathroom, sticky hardwood floors, no mini fridge. The room rate was $520 a night which is simply ridiculous given the service provided by the staff and accommodation. There are only two good things about this place was the valet staff and the location. Yes valet is expensive and yes it took 10 minutes (which isn't ideal) for your car to come but the staff are friendly and efficient. Location is good along the river front and we were able to walk to most of the city.”

We were there on the coldest weekend of the year but everyone was so welcoming, friendly and warm we felt like we had found the hidden gem of Savannah. The breakfasts and teas were incredibly delicious. Just a perfect stay.”

“This was the first time we stayed at a Home2 Suites and was very pleased. The room lay-out is nice with a curtain that can be pulled to divide bed from rest of room (and lights) if one of you wants to sleep. Has full-size refrigerator and a microwave. Comfortable bed and nice countertop space and desk/chair. Outside is clean and safe and adjacent to a nice complex of office buildings to walk a dog. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly. There was a $50 pet fee but I think that is good for up to 3 nights but we only stayed one. Has many restaurants near-by as well.”

“The most perfect location for downtown historic Savannah! We stayed 3 days and didn't use our vehicle at all as we walked everywhere. We used the street parking and tried to pay the daily amount of $24 for 8a-8p parking. You have to pay it first thing in the morning at 8a or will get a $40 ticket. There are parking garages close by within walking distance if you stay longer. It is an older builder and not a hotel, so you can hear the neighbors walking and moving furniture, can't hear the conversations. Very comfy and cozy. We loved our view of Broughton St from our window. Are definitely planning to stay there again!”

“Hotel is nice, staff is AMAZING! They are very accommodating and the reason to stay here. Rooms are nice, kitchen/living room a bit small and pull out uncomfortable but bedroom is a nice size and pillows comfy. Carpeting needs updating. Bathroom tub is not for those unsteady on their feet. It’s weird in the fact that the sides have a ledge, it’s not a completely flat bottom and kind of uncomfortable to stand in. Whoever thought this was a good idea did not think it through. It’s a safety hazard for those with balance issues, foot problems etc. I attached a pic but it’s hard to tell from it. Breakfast was good, had mini waffle makers and lots of options for oatmeal, yogurt and eggs along with drive cereal. I would stay here again as it’s a short drive to downtown Savannah”

“Came for a sports event. The evening check in front desk staff was very hospitable vs the morning front desk staff. The room was spacious,,, however lots of missed details. The shower had bright green soap residue left on the soap rack. A few body hairs left in the tub. The almost finished toilet paper roll could have been replaced with a new roll. The coffee maker area was not tidy and had lots of dust. Assumed no one has probably used the coffee maker in a while to dust it. The door had sticker remanence left from a sticker that didn’t fully come off. However we did enjoy the breakfast. The hotel itself is close to shops and restaurants. It just lacks details.”

“NOT A PLEASANT STAY. We took a road trip from Florida to Massachusetts 14 days on different states. This was our last 7th hotel (14 rooms because we are a family of 7) before getting back home we stopped here. And it was only 1 night, which I’m glad. When we got to the front desk I asked if we could switch one of our rooms to a double bed. I reserved 2 rooms with king beds to have only one reservation number. Carrie was the person who was at the front desk. She needs more training because when I asked if we could switch a room to a 2 bed room, she said she couldn’t because that’s how the booking was made online and that she couldn’t change it. She said the first room was booked as a king, let me see when I do the second one, then she says “yup, that’s a king too”…..really??? I made the booking I know what I booked, no need to remind me, that’s not what I’m asking!!!! In Greensboro, they did it for us, the same in Massachusetts and in New York. Then I asked for sheets for the bunk beds. And towels. I asked if she did not see the request I put on the booking for everything we needed, she said I didn’t see anything. You mean you didn’t care to read???…She gives us one pack of sheets. I ask her can I have 4 one for each bed in the bunk bed… and she asks if we are using both bunk beds…what in the world is wrong with this place??? did I not ask for extra beds??? 2 king rooms accommodates 6 ppl according to your description. It’s 7 of us!!! I also asked for a 3 extra towels on the app and then to her, she gave me 2 and tells me “wait, let me see if there is any more in the back”….I just left the counter because I COULDN’T HAVE FELT LESS WELCOMED!!!!….We sat in the lobby to eat food, it was around 11p 1/2/24 and we were tired. Carrie comes to ask for our keys to “fix something”…I thought maybe she asked her colleague how to give us the double beds. No explanation as to why she was asking for the keys. We had room 218 and 220 and she comes with room 221 and 222 and just says, “you guys are good now”…..we make it to our rooms, same 2 king rooms….I called the front desk and an afro American lady at the front desk when I asked if we could have 2 extra pillows (one for each of our kids) she said “hold on because we only allow one per room and I think we don’t have any”….WE HAVE 2 ROOMS UNDER ONE BOOKING!!!! I did not say anything and just waited, she left me on hold for too long and I hung up. Nobody ever knocked to give us the one limited ridiculous pillow she mentioned. She never even called back to check. After settling, we put our room number and last name to use the WiFi, because the signal here is very bad. We put the first set of room numbers and the second set and we get invalid information. We came here for pleasure but we are also working. And wifi never worked. I never called the front desk for this, we were probably going to hear that they only allow one try for the WIFI, or some other lame excuse. And that did it for us to put this review. How many things can go wrong in a one night stay??? We are PLATINUM ELITE members, and this is how you treat us??? We asked for late check out on the app to enjoy the city the following day, and need to let you know we lost interest in doing that, because I’m pretty sure they did not see the late check out request either…didn’t even want to go thru that huddle again. We left at 9a…And last but not least, the entire property smells like a big bottle of bleach, that sparked up my husband’s and my allergies. Breakfast was nothing special. They don’t even have the waffle maker, for whatever reason they only had scrambled eggs, sausage and prepackaged waffles that are not the same as the freshly made…..we are faithful Marriott members, we travel a lot and never stay at any other property that it’s not Marriott. From the JW all the way down to Townplace Suites, we rather stay we Marriott than anybody else. And this property is the only one that WE WILL NEVER STAY AT AGAIN. I rather sleep in my car than be treated like garbage again by people who don’t appreciate their customers!!!”

“The room was nice, the bed was awesome, friendly staff, however the breakfast options were pitiful and it was a stench on the 2nd floor. You could smell it as soon as the elevator doors open. Smelled like poo. I didn't ask to change rooms because once you where further down the hallway you could no longer smell it. I did wake up twice in the middle of the night and could smell it in the room but it went away. Come morning you could no longer smell it but it always came back by the afternoon and through out the night.”

“Great location right off I-95, plenty of options close by for dining and shopping reasonable price. Stayed in newly renovated room with the vinyl plank flooring, much nicer than icky carpet. Overall, rooms are clean with good size refrigerator, heat top, counter/cabinets with full sink. Bring your own utensils/plates/cups/pots-pans as those aren't provided. Only ding is housekeeping left a painfully obvious multi stained bed cover on the bed which of course, got immediately pulled off. Sheets appeared clean, please be so. Do better with the laundering and this would definitely be 5 star all the way. Also very happy they accept pets.”

“Very nice place to stay with one of the best staff's I've seen. You're walking distance to food and shopping and the bar us top notch for a nightcap. The room was very nice. Top floor. I loved the view at night and tho the room was smaller than I'm used to, the way it was made made it seem larger. Very comfy and cozy. Just passing through orca romantic night away don't pass this place up. I'd share photos but this was a Valentines night away and most would get me killed by my wife. 😆”
