Walking distance to Market square and good eateries. Cons: Amenities inside the room were basic and of basic quality including bathroom amenities and lighting (which I personally thought was of low quality - I like my room to be bright when the lights are on). Carpeting was dated. So-so: View from the window overlooking Forbes avenue with other rooftops was not that great. Front desk was polite but distant and not engaging.”

“My stay actually took place back in December 2023, but I still wanted to say that this place is awesome! I travel a lot, so I I've seen my share of domestic and international hotels... I called, before I booked the stay, and I spoke with Lindsey. She was friendly, informative, and courteous. I arrived and got checked in by Kayla. She was friendly, efficient, and kind. The next morning, I met Gordon, who ran the dining area. He was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone was great! My room was comfortable and quiet for me and my two dogs, and the breakfast buffet food was delicious. My day had been rough, starting with some very unexpected and pretty severe car issues, but I am thankful for this hotel and its amazing staff.”

“Reasonably priced BUFFET-Style breakfast. At 10A-10:30 it is very busy. Waffles, pasta, chicken, green beans, salad, rolls, carved ham, omelets, and potatoes are a few of the offerings. The POTATOES are by far the best we've had at any breakfast. The WAFFLES are light, crisp, consistently filled and delicious. The Food was constantly being added, freshened, etc. The cost is $17 a person and juice is $3 as is coffee, so expect to spend around $21 a person, we didn't' order alcohol so I can't quote that. If you don't eat meat your options are a bit more sparse: Potatoes, waffles, salad, bread, beans, or seafood (if you eat seafood) If you are vegan, don't go, you won't have options. Why 4 Not 5 Stars? The DESSERTS are minimalistic as far as breakfast buffets go, offering 2, on the far side of the room where you enter,( you might not even notice them) and wish they were donuts, not a pudding and a brownie, kind of pathetic for a brunch dessert, not even cookies, but that's just IMO. There are NO sneeze guards on the buffet. I am mentioning this solely for those patrons that love to eat at a buffet but really want a sneeze guard associated with their dining experience, cause that is NOT happening here. (do note that the staff was maintaining the food area, nonstop, and it was clean without transfer of serving utensils) Tip: If you prefer to NOT smell like the food, sit in the bar area instead of the main dining area, many were, because there is no exhaust fan and you will smell like what you eat.”

There was one day that I wasn’t feeling well and spent the day in my room. The next morning, Kamesa asked if I was okay because she hadn’t seen me and if I hadn’t showed up the next morning, she was going to check on me. A very lovely jester.”

“We book this room because of “Pet Friendly” When arrived the first thing we noticed was all the homeless in the area with tents right next to the hotel. I can say the staff was super nice and the room was nice. however needed to take the dog out and found out they don’t have a designated area for pets had to walk a to find an area for the dog to go (not easy in downtown - not much grass near by except for across the street where the homeless is camping out and still not much of area. The grass area that was across from the hotel had used needles on the ground differently not letting the dog in that area!. If you value your safety this is not the hotel for you. Not pet friendly at all - if you’re advertising pet friendly you should have a designated area for pets especially in the city where it’s mostly concrete everywhere.”
