“It is very good cost benefit. Small resort, not crowded. Rooms are nice, good view of the lake, comfortable bed. Nice pool area with jacuzzi. Excellent location, across the street from Old Town, a lot of food options at walking distance. Cons: -Old rooms, need update; broken tiles. -They don’t clean the rooms if you stay less than a week. Could use some cleaning at least every other day. -Service could be better. The attendant who checked us in was not much friendly. -We are a couple and they put us in the first floor. They put a family with small children upstairs and they keep running and screaming. Sometimes it seemed that the ceiling would fall over our heads, so much noise! The noise woke us up 6:30 am, when we just wanted to sleep late. The structure of the building is not sound proof. That is the main reason we are not coming back.”

It is conveniently located near Walmart and restaurants and 12 minutes away from the Disney Parks. We had a great stay for Christmas. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a cookie sheet pan.”

“The washer and dryer does not work properly. Was told to use the seat to hold up against the dryer door to keep it going. The water was warm at best, mostly cold showers and the pressure was also like standing in a light sprinkle of rain. Didn’t exist. The breakfast was cold and not good. You can tell it’s an old hotel. The best part is that it is really close to the parks, took us about 5-10 min to get to each park. Do not recommend.”

“Had reservations made for our anniversary, wanted so much to stay in an old hotel and not a franchise one. When we first arrived thinking we will go to the cozy little bar and have a drink before we went upstairs to unpack, —sat there for some time—no one addressed us that the bar was close, until finally a someone came up to us and told us the bar was closed. Once up stairs and in the process of unpacking. Thought —oh my what did we get into—- Horrible. All the good reviews I had been seeing—- we must of gotten the rotten egg one! The toilet paper roll was way in the back that hung up the wall in back of the toilet—Bumped my arm on the end of the sink every time I reached for some. When ready to take my shower and pulled back the curtain saw there was a missing water knob to the tub/shower-so could not turn on the water,—- thought ok for 2 nights we’d wash at the sink, —-no hot water. During the night the air condition was so loud we were not able to sleep. We decided to use the fan above the bed, My husband got up went looking to pull the chain, that was so short even a giant could not have reached it., He then pulled over the desk chair that was on wheels and I held it against the bed in order so it would not move and he’d fall (((very dangerous))) finally got the fan turned on. My husband also noticed the toilet was never fastened to the floor — thankful we didn’t see any leaks while there. Yes someone did tell us they would be up to address these negative issues once we made them known to housekeeping —-but that was not negotiable —-all that should of been tended to before they rented out that particular room. How could a hotel rent a room with No knob to turn on water in the tub — then on top NO hot water. The chain on the fan in the room, was dangerously too short to turn on. —Later when coming back to the hotel the the elevator was not working had to get the firemen back twice to fix it -mean while I had to walk the steps being in my 80’s with a bad hip was not what I thought I should be doing. When we were leaving I gave the receptionist a listing the problems we had while staying there, had asked her to see the manger saw it. with no response decided to write one again this time sending it in the mail. Again regarding the poor condition of the room—with no answer as of yet. I’m sure they at the time would of offered us another room, but we were there and all unpacked and settled in —why move if they would of just been aware of the problems before even renting the room, We can not give this Hotel a good review, —-our anniversary of 62 yrs was a big time disappointment. what a shame, when looking so forward to being there on our special time.”

“I don't quite understand the bad reviews. Is this a 5 star hotel? No. Did it save me a lot of money and was it still very comfortable? Absolutely! The staff was so sweet, the room was comfortable, and you could tell they had been putting a lot of work into the place. They do hold $200 when you check in as a deposit, in case you damage anything or smoke on the property, but that wasn't an issue for us, as we don't smoke and we aren't party animals. We were in town for a conference and just needed a place to rest our heads, eat meals, and attend some online webinars when we weren't at the convention center. I was able to add an extra night stay here for way less than the original hotel we booked. I would stay here again.”

“Just came back from this resort! Stayed there for two weeks with my family and we had a great time! The pool is really nice but the water was very cold for a few days which kinda sucked. The snack bar is super nice and has good options. Felt very safe as I was there with my young daughter. Nice vibe. Close to all stores and restaurants! Also, huge thank you to Steve (head of security) he helped us with an issue we were dealing with and he couldn’t of been nicer and more helpful!”

“DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER. THERE WAS ALMOST A FIRE DUE TO PROPERTY NEGLECT. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Our stay was completely unacceptable. Filthy rooms, mold, cold water, smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, bugs, shower and sink drain completely clogged, ripped furniture from the 1990s. None of this was even the worst part. After making a complaint on Wednesday about the water, plugged drains, and smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, nothing was done and no one followed up. Our last night, there was almost AN ELECTRICAL FIRE because of the properties NEGLECT. We were about to go to sleep when my partner thought he heard a noise. Went to find the source and found smoke POURING out of the water heater. Called the front desk right away, was told they'd "send someone" around 11pm. Luckily, we had access to the breaker, so we turned it off. We waited THIRTY PLUS MINUTES. If we didn't have access to the breaker there would have been a fire! If we'd gone to sleep earlier there would have been a fire! Their policy and untrained employees in an emergency situation is UNACCEPTABLE. The neglected and plugged up AC line caused the water to drip onto our water heater. We were VERY lucky we weren't hurt or even killed. Took over an hour to be reassigned to a new room. NO ONE from the property has contacted us after I requested. After I called, I was sent to the robot line instead of being directed to a person. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. A manager needs to contact me immediately.”
