“For the price you pay, the rooms are definitely not worth it in my opinion. It is a good hotel though and the location is great! There is a “resort” fee of $25 per night that you should be aware of. It barely covers breakfast for one person per night of stay. The rooms were clean and service was relatively decent barring one of the front desk ambassadors. All in all, if you’re not worried about price then it’s a good hotel.”

“Our out of town guests stayed at this hotel for our wedding in May 2018. One of our guests (my sister) is in a wheelchair and travel is hard for her and our parents. The hotel was very communicative and did all they could to help us arrange our rooms and make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. It was very appreciated. Although the hotel does sit right beside the BQE the windows were soundproof and we all slept well while there. The rooms are small but adequate and clean and with everything you need. The location is central to williamsburg and many attractions, restaurants, and things to do in the area. We were very happy with out experience there.”

“The reviews are real. The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious. The bathroom is modern with a huge vanity. Location is perfect with everything within a few minutes walk, including the subway which is just across the street. But the staff is the reason I will be back. Everyone was attentive and lovely. Felt like a VIP all week and I don't impress easily. I never stay the same place twice when visiting NYC but will definitely stay here again.”

“My husband and I spent our wedding day at Akwaaba Mansion and it was such a wonderful experience!! Randy greeted us unbelievable nicely and with such a hospitality! We rented the ballroom for a brunch in the morning and I can notbegin to describe how beautiful it was. And whenever we had a question or a problem, Randy made sure, that we found a solution. Without her, we would have had a hard time at making this day so special. The room was very nice and charming, and the guest lounge provides snacks and tea. When we come back to Brooklyn, we will make sure to stay at Akwaaba Mansion again.”

“Good, clean room. Sadly in need of updating but the water in the shower was hot, the bed comfortable and great location with easy access to trains. Breakfast was good, we ate there once and then chose to explore NYC. Would recommend for family visits. As it’s a kosher hotel though I recommend having a general understanding of the religion, be respectful of the culture.”

“Pros: - great location, right off the L and G, near good coffee, bookstores, bars, restaurants - rooms are very quiet - modern decor - nice bar inside, although I didn’t get anything - parking is very easy, but pricey. I parked my 4 door jeep wrangler, it was $47 overnight. You pull up, and the attendant parks it for you. It’s the type of lot that has cars raised over each other, so not an easy or quick in-and-out kind of situation. I believe if you have a standard sized vehicle it would be a little less. The garage is nice, it’s monitored, and as you can see in the pic - right off the entrance. Have cash for tips. - staff is professional and nice Cons: - expensive. You’re paying for location but that is really it. - pets allowed (only 1, but they made an exception for me by letting me pay two fees) but it’s $100 fee and is not refundable. This is a steep fee IMO, and being non refundable seems crazy to make it that high.”

“The last time I tried to stay there they were closed. I had a reservation, and there was no warning, just a sign on the front of the door, with someone telling me I had to go to the holiday inn when I was tired from a long day of travel. Besides having small rooms, it wasn't too bad when I had stayed previously. But refusing service, and not alerting customers ahead of time is unforgivable. Do not try to stay here.”
