“I am a frequent traveler and a Hilton Honors member and have stayed at many hotels. We had a really bad experience when we stayed here recently. We loved the opportunity to select our room online as Honors members. In doing so, we were offered an upgrade for drinks and snacks which turned out to be very lame. Don’t do it! Also, when we checked in, our floor was very sticky and needed cleaning. We reported our dissatisfaction with the value of the upgrade and the sticky floors to an older woman at the front desk who I suspect was a manager. The older woman there was very snarky and basically did not care. She sent a man up with a dry swifter mop and a spray bottle. He sprayed the floor and dry mopped it but it did not help so we just gave up on getting it fixed. The manager response below that she reached out several times to ask about it is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. She never once reached out to us by phone or I. Person or at the front desk, not once!!! In addition, the bedding was worn as well and looked old and in need of replacement. We also complained when we complained about the sticky floor about the snack and drink situation and we were told BY THE SAME WOMAN that she would only allow us to exchange one drink for another drink. We told her that if we had known how lame it was, we would not have paid for that. Again, she was clear that this was the only option. The fact that the manager would lie in her response is extremely disappointing and I will be contacting Hilton on this. This hotel is extremely disappointing and we stay at a lot of hotels and travel a lot but this is probably one of the worst experiences I have had and was only made worse by the lies written in the below response. Be assured, we wholly recommend you not waste your time with this place!”

“My sister and I came to check on my nephew who plays football for UVA. My sister arrived first. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk attendant. I didn't get her name, but she was there every day we were there and was very helpful. The first room we were placed in had an issue with the hot water, but we were able to get another room no problem. Breakfast was nice and each and every person we encountered who worked at the hotel greeted us, was friendly and had good customer service. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Beautiful hotel located near UVA and downtown Charlottesville. Even though it was super busy, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the rooms were quiet. Valets were quick to retrieve vehicles and also careful, friendly. A very trendy and hip interior; love the upscale details. The only bad score I would give is the female hostess in restaurant on Saturday morning. We witnessed her non-poker face and attitude with guests in front of us (who made reservations for 20 but somehow got lost), and then she denied seating us because of the 20-top and seemed put-out and not friendly. “We spent Christmas and our anniversary at Keswick Hall. Our experience with our room overlooking the golf course, dinner on Christmas to finishing our stay was spectacular. What stood out was the cleanliness of our room, the sparkle of the grounds and the attentiveness of the staff. The front desk staff instantly made you feel welcomed, responsive to any questions. The highlight was my 90 minute facial with Alexis. She paid attention to what I was looking for before the process and she did not disappoint. I highly recommend her facials.
