“Front Desk and Staff were really friendly/ knowledgeable. We needed extra sheets and pillows and they had them to us within 5 minutes. Location was fantastic and convenient for walking Uptown. Breakfast was much better then a lot of higher end hotels. The room was clean. Only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 is because the room was a little smaller then expected. Overall a Fantastic Experience.”

“The staff at "The Lodge " are incredibly nice. In particular one older gentleman, we were in contact with quite a bit. He is just the type of person needed at the campground. Friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and quiet. You will hear the planes quite often, but you get used to it. Plenty of fun things for children to do. Big games outside, a net of some sort and places to ride their bikes supervised. The shuttle is great to take carowinds. A lot nicer then trying to find a parking space. Take advantage of it for sure! We enjoyed our stay!”

“It's was a nice hotel. Check-in was very easy. Customer service was great. The rooms were ok. The rooms had a few minor issues but nothing major. The beds were pretty descent. The smoke detector kept flashing in the room all night and was pretty visible when the lights were off. It's convenient to a lot of stuff nearby. Overall, it's a pretty good hotel..”

Pool was a lot smaller than expected but hot tub was nice and we appreciated they were both in working order. Biggest negative was that there was a party downstairs with very loud music and despite us calling down to ask them to get them to turn down the loud music/base it continued till very late.”

“worst visit to any hotel ever. how do you offer a jacuzzi room that doesn't work? no indication that the tub has been inoperable since November 2023. it's being offered on the website, so that's what my wife and I expected to get. it was my 50th valentine birthday and it was a very disappointing surprise. hilton needs to be aware of what's going on at their properties. it's false advertisement and is not right. so don't reserve a jacuzzi whirlpool suite here they haven't been in operation since November 2023. SO PETTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.”

“Pros- This is a great location. Safe, clean, quiet and right off the highway, but far enough it ain’t loud. Also these are pictures of the updated suite I stayed in with balcony view facing front roundabout Cons- breakfast suck lol, hard pancakes, coffee was brutal so don’t book based on that. Also only 2 “larger” towels in the room, which is weird if you are staying as a couple, plus if you do a longer stay they do your room every other day.. so that sucks with 2 people. Lastly, the king bed.. was bad… I hope they are changing them down the line. After all that, to be open and honest this is a 4-4.3 all day hotel. Plus check out was 12 noon so that was nice!”

“I’ll start by saying the room was very spacious but unfortunately that is the only good thing. We only booked for the indoor pool which out of the 4 nights we stayed it was never opened. Breakfast was horrible. No sausage in the gravy one morning, no biscuits for the gravy the next, no orange juice one day and then the next two days no juice at all. Also no milk. The halls smelled bad like onions or some kind of food. Our blanket on one bed was dirty, there was duct tape on the window, one of our tvs has 4 decent sized white dots on the screen. We nicely asked about all the above and not one time were any of these things taken care of nor did any of them seem to care besides we did get a new blanket. Also the pull out bed had stains. Beds were suppose to be Queen and they were double … I never have wrote a bad review but felt I should let future customers know before they waste their money.”

“I had a quick turnaround in Charlotte and this hotel far exceeded any of my previous Hilton stays there. The staff was welcoming and inviting, and the two ladies were very pleasant to deal with when I arrived Monday morning. I had no problems getting a shuttle (although you should know to call the hotel to arrange pickup from the airport - I did ask through the app). No problems with checking in, coffee was available and hot with options, and the rooms had a really nice layout and were pleasant. It was extremely cold, hot shower, everything was just like you'd expect it to be to make you feel at home. I honestly wish I had more time in there. Be sure you put your name on the list if you want to go back to the airport (that wasn't an issue, just FYI). This is where I'll stay when I go to Charlotte and when I don't want to go downtown!”

“We enjoyed our stay. Great hotel, with large, clean, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast items are of great quality from coffee, eggs, Greek yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, milk and oats milk, French toast, blueberries, etc. It sort of reminded me of what Hyatt breakfasts used to before the Pandemic. The large gym has everything you need (treadmills, machines, dumbbells) for a complete workout routine. We will return. The hotel has a Microwave in the breakfast area available at all times. For those complaining about the lack of microwave in the rooms, Hyatt hotels do not have microwaves in the rooms. They do have small fridges, and a microwave is always available in the Lobby.”

“I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. A friend and I stayed in 2 separate rooms in February. We were very impressed with the rooms! They were clean, welcoming, comfortable and were supplied with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Tricie was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming while helping us check in at the front desk. I would highly recommend staying here. They offer a continental breakfast but we did not attend. The only negative thing I could say, is the ice machine broke in the middle of our stay.”

“We stopped here for a quick overnight through town. I would say you get what you pay for with Hampton Inn, but it was comparable in price to others along I-85. this one happened to be in the right location for us to stop bc of time and energy. We wish we would have chosen another Hampton Inn. We travel frequently each month and mostly stay at Hilton properties. This one is older and outdated throughout. The guy at the front desk wasn’t terrible but wasn’t friendly and attentive either. The room our app assigned us wasn’t ready (10pm at night), so they must’ve not cleaned it that day. 3 other options were available on the app but in reality only 1 was available and it was right by the elevator. The hallways were loud. The guests were loud, pot was being smoked at all hours and large dogs were barking. We probably heard 5-7 sirens within the first hour of arriving. Our room didn’t have towels. The bedding was just ok. Definitely an older and very budget property. I would recommend looking elsewhere for other options first. Many of the other similar properties along the interstate were at least partially updated.”

“Hotel is clean and updated, but the young girl who works at the front counter was very rude while checking in. After a long day, I’d expect to arrive, greeted professionally, and be checked in to my room without inappropriate comments while being checked in. While she looked like she was maybe college-age at most and still immature, she should be taught how to properly treat people in the service industry before ever being in a customer-facing situation. Please train staff to be more professional or you won’t have return customers.”
