We're huge dog people and they are pet-friendly so we gave it a shot and had an amazing time. Needless to say, the second time around did not disappoint. The service and hospitality was amazing, and the amount of activities available were endless. We even stayed an extra night because of how great of a time it was. I hope that they keep up this tradition. We drank lots of hot tea and enjoyed our beautiful ocean view from our room. The staff is wonderful and great to talk to. Not to mention a gourmet breakfast each morning! We were pampered and treated. Reservations were made for the same time next year.”

“We had booked on this vacation 9 Hilton hotels. This was the best by far one. Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Great location if you want to stay away from the noisy area just down the road. The rooms were beautiful, exceptionally clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. Debbie at reception explained everything to us and made us feel really welcome. Food can be ordered at any time and is charged to the room. Patti is a real credit to the Hilton group and went beyond what was expected of staff to make sure our stay was hassle free. It was a real pleasure to stay here. “12minutes drive from the beach! Concierge area has nice and cold welcome lemon infused water which was really refreshing in hot summer weather! Room was clean and huge for couple with a toddler, kind of 1 Bhk ! Bathroom was large with two doors accessible from the bedroom and the living area! There was small microwave and coffee machine and kitchen sink very much needed when traveling with kids! Wardrobe area was spacious with iron board ! Breakfast served fresh and had good options ! Pancakes, waffles,3-4types of muffins and bagels and breads, Scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, flavored yogurt , 3 types of fruits , cheese , juice, tea and coffee! Would like to visit again and recommend others !”

“We had a terrific stay the Canalside Inn this weekend with our puppy! We really enjoyed the location of the inn, convenience, and flexibility with animals! Overall it was incredibly clean and the amenities were great! Aesthetically, I think the rooms could use some work. It would’ve been nice to have real lamps (rather than the glow lights with the remote). It would also have been great to have a backboard on the bed. It also would have been nice to have someplace to sit in the room aside from the bed. The chairs worked, but were not very comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and will be back in the near future!! Thank you to the staff for everything :)”

From the wonderful person at the front desk who took my reservation and arranged early check in to the facilities management team who personally checked with me to make sure our room was perfect. We have stayed at many hotels and this specific one has the cleanest rooms ever. Even the corners and hard to reach places were spotless. Wonderful breakfast as always and fantastic location in Rehoboth Beach. Quiet rooms and decent fitness center. Highly recommended. “Stayed at the Surf Club twice and looking forward to coming back again soon. It’s right on the dunes, and the oceanfront rooms have a great view onto the beach. It is within walking distance to just about everything in Dewey, which was a huge plus. The rooms were pretty well kept. They include a full dinette with everything you need if you planned to cook any meals there (they give pots/pans, dishes, bowls, cups, silverware, etc). Hotel staff are all friendly and went out of their way to help when we needed something. They also have a full beach house available for rent that I’d love to look into for a whole family trip”

“New/modern, extremely well managed, clean, comfortable and well-laid out and designed. I don't understand another reviewer saying it is "tired". Nothing could be further from the truth. Our room and the lobby, elevators, halls, etc. all looked upscale and brand new. Excellent breakfast with fresh variety of offerings, fresh fruit, good coffee and cutlery. Our room was a suite with a small, well appointed kitchenette including a dishwasher. Everything was spotless and in perfect working order. Free parking with the beach a 10-15 min. drive and lots of stores nearby. My husband especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool which was still open in mid-Oct. Staff were pleasant and responsive. Would definitely recommend this hotel. And yes there is a $100 non-refundable pet fee so factor that in if you bring a pet, but they tell you that up front and we found the room rate + pet fee to still be a really good value for the experience and facilities you are getting.”

“First want to say shout out to ZACH! He is the nicest most professional guy and made our stay even better. Waking up and going down to breakfast to someone greeting you and happy to help you made the stay even better. There was also a older gentleman who offered to cook my kids something else if they didn't like what was on the buffet that morning, that made me super happy to have someone willing to do that for us...But the rooms are super nice with a kitchen full of nice pots,pans plates ect. “We stayed here for a wedding that was upstairs. We learned that this end of the boardwalk is residential and very quiet. There isn’t any entertainment around here. But the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. And our room had a cute balcony! The elevators were fast and they had decent parking in their garage. Also the soap and shampoo is coconut scented and I thought that was so nice”

It is right on the main road and within walking distance of all of the shops in Dewey Beach. The hotel is a bit old, and our room was musty. The bed linens were definitely showing their age (pilled). It is nice that the large window/doors open, even if there isn't a balcony. If you're at the beach, you want the sounds and smells. The staff were helpful and friendly.”
