“This place is secluded and a place to get away from it all. Yes you have to drive to get dinner but they make that clear on their website and the options around the area make for a lovely evening out. The rooms are clean and spacious with the best view out of them. Peaceful and relaxing. The host was delightful, so accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was simple and all we needed to get back on the road to our next destination. Wonderful stay and we can’t wait to go back!”

Apart from Piermont being an amazing location with plenty to do around the property, the dinner and service was simply next level. I could not fault our stay one little bit. You really couldn't ask for a friendlier crew at Piermont to look after us whilst we stayed there. Thank you for making our anniversary so special. “Pretty good experience for our large group overall with terrific highs and other mediocre aspects: HIGH: - Breakfast and staff for breakfast at the room near reception - fantastic in every way! - Beds are very comfortable and the plumbing/shower work a treat. - Meals in the pub are generally quite acceptable and enjoyable. MEDIOCRE: - Meals in the pub are generally quite acceptable and enjoyable, however the smokers on the balcony leave the door open ALL OF THE TIME meaning they generously share their swill with those dining. This is to the detriment of the hotel as many of our group just went to our rooms early to get away from the smoke. The hotel obviously loses ongoing food/bar sales because of this!! - The excessive noise in the eating area of the pub is terrible making conversation for all a real difficulty. - The rooms with 2 beds really require a small table and just 2 chairs as there is nowhere to sit down apart from the toilet. I know there is not a huge amount of room, but have seen similar rooms around Australia with a small table/chairs. SUGGESTIONS: - Look at enlisting the services of some automatic electric door installers to sort out where the smokers are. - Look at enlisting the help of some architectural acoustic specialists to hopefully inexpensively tame the noise in the pub dining area. - Look at some small table chair options for some of the rooms. “This place is SO beautiful and peaceful. It is dog friendly, has a private beach (2-3 min walk), outdoor pool, indoor barbecue area with a outdoor patio with it to enjoy your snags or glass of red, and a huge land of grass for our dog to play on and to use the launch ball thrower. Every apartment has a ocean view. My friend and i loved it. We had a ocean view room and it had everything we needed. Sadly the resturant isn't allowed dogs and has no outdoor seating. But regardless i loved my stay here. I highly recommend this place. Hopefully will be back someday soon !!”
