“Disappointing customer service for a 5 start hotel. I was so excited to try this property. Unfortunately, my partner and I had to change our trip plans due to some serious, unexpected family health issues. I reached out just a few hours after the cancel deadline with the hopes of simply moving our reservation so as to not lose the $1600+ we spent for a room. The hotel took 5 days to respond to the request (and multiple were sent) only to say they couldn't do anything about it and thus we have to forfeit the full amount. Really disappointing policies and customer service for a supposed "luxury" brand. Had they budged even a little and at least let us rebook to different dates, then they would've gained a loyal customer for years to come. Instead, they're getting this review, I'll never spend my money at Relais & Châteaux again, and I'll encourage friends and family to avoid them as well.”

“Our stay here was one of the highlights of our hiking trip! We stayed in a "chambre de montagne" - a small room at the top of the hotel intended for hikers etc. With half-board, this was great value and also provided an evening of luxury compared to traditional mountain refuges! We loved the cosy ambiance of the hotel - the lovely wooden furniture, mountain-themed decor and roaring fire. The food and service in the restaurant was wonderful. We had forgotten to let the hotel that we are vegetarian, so we would like to particularly thank the chef for coming up with a vegetarian main course at short notice. The location is beautiful and great for walkers. We enjoyed watching the manager of the hotel gently encourage a mountain cow to leave the hotel's patio 😆 Highly recommend this place - it was a real treat to stay here.”

“A great holiday for all The only downside I could possibly comment on, and I’ll mention it first, was the quality of food from the restaurants. We had 2 undercooked pizzas on 2 separate days. The buffet service for the show was a bit disappointing and the Thai restaurant was far from it. There’s a lot of ants on site and if you look closely at the accommodation you’ll find some issues. Aside from that, the water parks are incredible, the staff are unbelievably friendly and accommodating and the facilities are top notch for a great family holiday! It’s very close to the beach too and the beach will not disappoint”

“We Spent one week in this property.. Positives : 1.Location is Good considering beach is within 3km by car.. Kids who loves water activities will love this place.. 2. Restaurant , located outside the premises on the opposite side of road serves good food 👌 Area of improvement: 1.Quality of animations being conducted needs to be improved drastically ! 2. Make sure to clean each & every corner of the mobile home before checkout.. or be ready to pay for cleaning 🙂 3 . STAFF could have more smile in their faces & could be more engaging with clients !🙂”

“The room had a lovely view of the sea. Unfortunately, that’s all. To be fair it was not expensive but all quite tired and dirty. Bathroom sink also blocked. However, what they do in the kitchen is exceptional. We had lunch and dinner and for the price I couldn’t better it. Staff were really friendly and efficient”

“PARKING: The parking lot isn’t big enough for the number of rooms — the parking lot was full and we had to park elsewhere. THE BUILDING: The building was nice. The entryway and breakfast area are very nice. LOCATION: The location is good if you have a car, but if the parking lot is full, it can be a problem (this hotel is away from the center of town so there maybe isn’t a good way to get to it without a car). RECEPTION: Checking in was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. She graciously tolerated my (lack of) French and was able to help me in English when my French failed. AIR CONDITIONING: The air conditioning was fine. THE ROOM: The room was nothing special. There were lights in a pattern on the mirror, which my wife though was tacky, but I didn’t mind them. There was coffee in the room. THE BATHROOM: The bathroom was strange. The shower was more of a dog wash station, but without the tub. We wondered if maybe we had been given a handicap room so I’m not sure if all the bathrooms are like that. They do provide soap and shower gel in wall-mounted containers. NOISE: The hotel was very quiet. SUMMARY: Great location and friendly staff, but because of the parking and strange shower, we’ll probably try a different place the next time.”

“It is well maintained, with big pines and flower bushes. Cottages are well equipped, comfortable beds. Two beds on mezzanine are not useful bcs it is too hot to sleep upstairs and there is one small window, which can not refresh the room. Pool is nice and well maintained. Reception is working from 16h so don't come before. Check out at 9.30 latest. Before the check out, you have to do the deep cleaning but really deep, like cleaning the shower doors from water marks! Wich means that one person that is not professional cleaner is cleaning the room for next person to come. Which means it is not disinfected and cleaned well. That is one really big minus for me. We already went in campings like that and yes, they ask you to leave it clean but they do the final touches. When we arrived we were welcomed by mr. Travis, who should work in military camp, pretty strict and cold. No undersanding for special needs of certain people. When you arrive you have to count everything there is in the room, kitchen etc and to check if everything is working. They have time to do that from 10 to 16 not to ask the clients who travelled maybe 10 hours. In general the camping site is nice but relation with clients is terrible. I would not go back there.”
