“We spent 6 nights at this Courtyard in early November. The staff was amazing! We had a circumstance that we had to keep extending our stay due to a death in the family. Isabella at the front desk was so sweet and kind, asking us how we were every time we saw her (which was often.) Shanterica and Dennis also took care of us when we needed to extend too, both acting with compassion. And the Asst Manager (I didn't get his name) was also kind, honoring the rate we paid prior. They were also very attentive to sending up additional items like towel, pillows, etc. to the room as needed too. The hotel is in a safe area and very convenient, along N. Congress Ave. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings next door, if it's late (like were on our first night) and you're hungry. The rooms could use an updating and maintenance (dripping bathtub faucet, which we did mention.) Carpet was dirty as well. Otherwise, we would stay here again and tell others to do so. Thank you.”

“Check in was smooth and the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We purchased the $10 breakfast coupon not expecting much. Dana was server and she was helpful, friendly, and funny! Brenda, the cook, was also very nice and friendly. If you eat breakfast I would highly recommend getting the breakfast Coupon as the servings are very large and you can also get food from the breakfast bar as well. The rooms were clean. We only had one bar of soap on arrival to the room and had to ask for more. The bathroom felt a bit cramped as well, but it was clean.I did notice the quilt had a stain on it, but the sheets smelled freshly washed. I wish there was a mirror on the bathroom wall that extends so you can do your makeup. Overall it was a good experience.”

“First, everything started with my conversation over the phone with Wolf. I called the hotel directly because I read a review about bed bugs a while back. He acknowledged there had been an incident, but that it was taken care, so there was no longer a concern. He was so Good I booked our stay with him! Aside from Wolf everyone is very attentive and so well trained. Above everything the room feels clean. Sometimes you go to a hotel and it is clean on the surface, but you can smell that the carpets, the chair, and/or the bedding aren’t really clean. Not sure how often they deep clean here, but our room really smelled clean. The kitchen, and the entire sweet is well laid out. The refrigerator is a small full size refrigerator that stays on! While they don’t have one of those noisy ac units, the in wall system was still a bit noisy. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely come back again!”

“They are lucky I am even giving them a one star. I have never heard of any hotel that didn’t allow late check out. We stayed here last weekend on Saturday night of January 6th, checking out on Sunday January 7th. My mother and I traveled from out of town to visit family and she had recently received chemo as she is a cancer patient. She had a hard time getting up early that Sunday morning because of her weakness so it took her some time to get ready for us to check out on time and leave. It was about 10:53am when I called the front desk to request an additional 30 minutes and at first the lady said she could not allow it. I explained our situation and requested an exception to allow 30 minutes, and after much pleading with her she said she could only allow 15 minutes. Disgusted. Absolutely disgusted with this place. I understand if you’re short staffed, but due to a rare situation I requested an exception and the least she could have done was seek management approval. Unless she is the manager herself, then shame on her. Rushing my mom not only stressed me out, but it also stressed her out. Our stay here started off well, but ended horrifically. This service was not only bad, but it’s taken very personal, and I will never stay here again, and do not recommend.”

We enjoyed our breakfast every morning and the ladies that prepared our meals were such blessing to us they went out of their way to make sure everything was properly prepared and that we were satisfied.
