“The experience was generally okay. Some items that were unexpected was a $200 deposit was required for the room. The hotel already has our credit information, so why is this extra measure required? Second, our refrigerator was not working. We ended up plugging it into a different socket which was not a big deal. The room was clean. The breakfast was okay but staff should be present to clean up the area after people were eating. It was quite a mess with some guests not cleaning up after themselves. Otherwise, it was okay. I feel that the overall quality of Marriott hotels is decreasing in the United States.”

“Stayed here for one week with the family sharing a suite. All the staff at the hotel have been very kind & made us feel at home from the beginning. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, were clean & the breakfast was also great. Overall the hotel is a great value, being conveniently located only a 30 minutes bus ride from Times Square/Manhattan. Edgewater, the area, where the hotel is located is very peaceful and nice too. Right next to the hotel, one can find some shops as well as restaurants & within only a 15 minutes walk groceries store.”

“We had such a great stay here! Booked through Hotwire and got a great room. Staff was kind and allowed us to leave our bags with them before our check in time because we were early, rooms were pretty and clean, great location - close to Grove St station for the PATH train into the city. Just wish the walls were a bit thicker and that the bathroom had a fan, but otherwise, it was great!”

“"Disappointing Holiday Experience at Residence Inn Weehawken Port Imperial" Our stay at the Residence Inn Weehawken Port Imperial over the Christmas and New Year's period was unfortunately overshadowed by several issues, primarily involving room cleanliness and maintenance. The persistent odor in our rooms and the water leakage incident in the dining area during a peak holiday season significantly impacted our overall experience. While the staff were responsive in some instances, these problems greatly diminished our holiday spirit and expectations of a comfortable, hassle-free stay during such a festive time.”

“Great hotel for a short stay. The breakfast has a lot of options to choose. Unfortunately, the famous pancake machine wasn't working. The place was tidy and clean, rooms were very nice, and the bed was very comfortable, just like the pillows. It's 10 minute away (walking) from the PATH train to Manhattan. Great overall experience”
