“Nice hotel at a good price. It's what you expect from a Hampton Inn, which is good. Rooms were clean. We could hear a lot of jumping around from the room above us but it calmed down by bedtime. Breakfast was good for a basic free meal. Eggs and sausage were OK but at least it was not just carbs. OK location but the rooms either overlooked a mobile home park or a hardware store. It was within walking distance of the Old Mystic Village and the aquarium.”

“Stayed two nights between Christmas and New Years Eve. We had a room with a fireplace which was perfect for the rainy mornings. The balcony was great in the evening for a drink. The staff was wonderful...can't say enough how friendly and helpful they were from adding an an extra room when my sister and husband want to join us, to check in, recommendations for restaurants and checking out. Rock 21 has a pretty decent happy hr but recommend making reservations since it does get crowded. This was not our first visit and will not be our last.”

“One of the worst places I've stayed. Customer service is one the rudest. There was a lady on Saturday not answering the phones to find out if we could check in a little earlier than 4:00 .we had arrived at 2:30 and she told us in a rude behavior we have to wait until 4:00 . The free breakfast was the worst dried eggs no condiments, orange juice tasted expired . They where two busy talking to there family's laying around on the couch and watching tv, to give toilet paper they where none in the room .Towels in the room size of hand towels, no water pressure and the room was not very clean food on the wall . . Great location it would Be a great place for a hotel with the appropriate staff and someone that could speak better English and have a better attitude..”

“Rooms are very loud. Music can be heard on the 3rd floor. When our room neighbors flushed their toilet, I thought it was our toilet. We needed extra sheets for our 2 year old so he could sleep on the pull out couch. They couldn’t even be bothered to bring them up to the room. The pool faces north and there no lights on during the day. It was nearing sunset and with the tall buildings and early sunset, Pool was getting dark so I called the front office to see if we could have some lights turned on. GM came in and told me no and they would turn on eventually. He changed his mind 5 minutes later and adjusted the timer so the lights turned on. Pool could have been 3-4 degrees warmer. Rooms were clean, if that’s all you care about, you are good there. Restaurant attached has slow service and is expensive. Sort of disappointing holiday inn experience.”

“We booked a 2 bedroom so our 6 year-old could have his own space. They gave us a handicap accessible room. It faced the non-smoking courtyard where people went to smoke including the woman at the front desk. Back door not locked that leads into the building which isn’t safe. Bedding was clean. My back has never hurt more from a bed. Both my husband’s back and mine were locked from sleeping on this bed. The tub/shower combo was clean with a brand new shower curtain. The shampoos and conditioners in the shower can be opened by anybody which I think is gross. The toilet in the room with the shower/tub combo was super low to the floor, close to the wall, and lopsided. The bathroom door to the handicap accessible bathroom didn’t stay open and was creaky when it slowly closed on its own. The AC in our room has a very loud clicking sound whenever it kicks on, which seemed like every few minutes during the night. The room was relatively quiet with the exception of the person above us. It sounded like they were bowling in their room. The sound of the shower above is was so loud it sounded like it was in our room. The light from the smoke detector in our room was very bright-flashing on randomly and repeatedly at times. It’s in very close proximity to the bed. The bedroom our son was in smelled like skunk weed twice so I’m guessing it’s seeping in from the courtyard. The breakfast was okay. The superstar of breakfast is the waffle maker. The pool was a cold salt pool. Not expected. My kid liked it. It was nice for us to have a separate space from our son after he went to bed at 8p, but not worth the almost $400 we paid for the night.”

“Very pleased with my experience here! Got the king suite for me and my family which has 2 rooms (king bed, sofa bed, hot tub, stove, fridge/freezer, dining table, etc). I felt we really got our money's worth here! We requested for an extra bed and the staff had no problem adding one for us, didn't even have to pay extra! Breakfast was good for what it was and the pool was EXCELLENT! It was heated very nicely, hot tub was great too! Very close to Foxwoods which is the reason we found this place, will definitely return!”
