“This is a great Hilton property! Although it’s adjacent to the airport, the area is nice and safe. The front staff was top notch- professional, cheery and helpful! My room was very comfortable and immaculately cleaned. I know a lot of hotel noise depends on the guests, but this is one of the quietest hotels where I’ve stayed. The clientele was nice and if you’re a woman traveling alone, that’s important. Although the family member I was visiting lives in south Sarasota, it was absolutely worth the driving back and forth to stay at the this Hampton Inn. *There weren’t any restaurants within walking distance that I saw, but I understand the hotel does provide transportation. I had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue.”

The breakfast in the morning was not too bad, but the eating area was very dusty and under construction.”

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay, especially opening our door to view and listen to the waves of the gulf. The beach is steps from the door and the pool was warm and well maintained. They didn't have enough outlets in my opinion and figuring out the overhead lights was confusing. The shower curtains are not long enough, so the floor got soaked every time we showered. The pool are was great. It has a Tiki island vibe which we loved. All the staff was great and overall we really enjoyed our stay.”

“A great experience from beginning to end. The level of customer service and attention to detail are a welcome change from what is typical today. Paige, Gabe and the rest of the staff are a rare group. The rooms are cozy and decorated with purpose. Our stay was the end of a month long trip to Florida and we ate most of our meals in the room because we were tired of eating out. We had everything we needed to prepare meals successfully. The room was the cleanest I have stayed in and we travel a lot. Paige communicates well before arrival. She has taken care to document everything you need to make the most of your stay. The location is terrific. It is right across the street from a public beach access on a quiet section of Siesta Beach. It is also a short walk to the village. The value for the money is exceptional. I highly recommend this business and will absolutely return.”

“My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Sea Spray resort. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We happened to stay during not so nice weather (had a tornado warning!) and the staff dropped off a flashlight and made sure to give us a call to make sure we were safe. It was extremely clean in our living area, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom. There are plenty of beach supplies ready for the guests. The pool was so nice, it ended up being warmer than the air some days! The beach and the village were in short walking distance.”

“I never leave bad reviews, because it feels dramatic and extreme, but I truly felt the need to share my experience in order to help others. For some background, I am a young female who travels alone to Sarasota monthly for work. I booked this hotel with my company for a work trip and got to the hotel and immediately had to find a new hotel. At check-in, the manager insisted my reservation was cancelled even though I had a received a mobile check-in confirmation. The manager then booked me a new room at a higher price and then realized I was checked in for two rooms. He then cancelled my new room and I was able to check-in and get a room key. The room was in a completely separate building with no immediate parking and minimal lighting on a busy street with lots of foot traffic. Once in the room, it immediately smelled of mold/mildew and it was impossible to find the light switches. The carpet was very old. All of the furniture was scratched and dented and the bed mattress had a stain. Let’s just say, I was rebooked at a new hotel in 5 minutes. As someone who comes to the area monthly, there are plenty of other hotels that are much better, safer and cleaner than this hotel. I would not book here if you can stay anywhere else.”
